And less 2ndary weapons.
Its also capable of eliminating all destroyers with a headshot, as well as bug warriors. It two-shots Brood commanders if aimed properly. Three or four shots kill a hive guard or Bile spewer. If you turn off the flashlight, it wont blind you. Always put it in burst to retain accuracy. Preferably fire from kneeling or prone when the enemy is a bit farther away. The only flaw I see is that its incapable of dealing efficiently with scout striders. If they fixed that, the Dominator would likely be the best gun in the game, given some practice.
Also, I think they should change its firing sound to something more impressive. Have it roar, rather than sound like a slow-firing assault rifle.
What is a "normal" bot to you?
Because if you mean the dev's, they aren't normal bots like the regular rifle and rocket dudes
If you mean the heavier duty ones with heavy weapons that can spawn with shields and rocket pods?
Those aren't regular bots
Those are heavier duty.
and the dominator 1 shots the actual regular dudes like most other weapons do.
So either you're misunderstanding what a regular bot is or you're lying to ppl.
Railgun copers need to stfu already and actually just git gud.
It's effective against the bugs and it's recoil is only a problem when moving and aiming at longer distances. However crouching fixes this issue and there is even armor to reduce recoil.
Yeah this is what I do with the scorcher vs bugs
Scorcher for bile spewers/chargers
Stalwart + stratagems for chaff.
Its made to be clumsy and unwieldy. Thats ok. I won't mind some more damage though, to bring DPS up a bit and make it better against medium enemies.
Not bad against bugs, but it's not something you should run without a fast firing secondary with big ammo cap, or something like a stalwart as a support weapon
It can let you pop bile spewers heads which is worth it alone.
But also would prefer to just use the scorcher v bugs for same reason since it also lets me kill chargers.
