This is super earth bikini armor we are talking about here. You are protected by the sheer amount of freedom, liberty, and democracy you are oozing out when wearing it.

Even if they wanted to make us more vulnerable for gameplay reasons, I would be fine with it being an even "lighter" armor, give me that speed/stamina.

Sure. But I don't view the LGBTQ+ community and Hetero/Non trans community as being at war. So the idea of a treaty is not something I observe as needed. If you have content you want why not just post and ask? Why make a contingent trade?

The most common thing that makes someone LGBTQ+ or not is who they want or don't want in their bedroom relative to themselves. It's akin to saying that not everything about Helldivers is video game related.

if you look at a gay person and the only thought you have is who they have sex with maybe that says something about you more than the community

Maybe for the LGB part but being trans. In my understanding is not defined by your sexuality? It's about identity? So not reliant on your bedroom activities as it's defining characteristics?
I stand to be corrected.

That's why I said "the most common thing". Trans people are a small portion of the LGBTQ+ population, so while the use of the pride flag is certainly not exclusively bedroom related, it most commonly represents an individual's interests in the bedroom.

Hmm I disagree from my perspective. One look at gaming as a whole or even just these Hell Diver 2 discussion pages will show you otherwise.

The original post is obviously satire but at the same time, I really do think both communities could and should be more willing to work together.

A witty but dishonest response. I don't look at a gay person and think about their bedroom interests, and that's not what I claimed either. When I see a rainbow flag, the first thing that comes to mind is what that flag represents. When I look at a gay person, I just see a person because I can't magically know whether or not someone is gay by looking at them.

Unironically think a Helldiver in a bikini would tarnish the spirit of the game more than an LGBT cape, but then neither are realistic.

On a related note, why does "cultural critique" of Western values wrt women's bodies always seem to align so close to goonposting?

Ofc. Im sorry you feel that way. I wish there was less hatred. And my question has nothing against you. Was just thinking, If you want something ask for it. Doesnt matter if another community gets something or not. Its the Helldivers community thats its.
