endless grenades

What is this new bug with a negative number of grenades? Today I met two players who had endless grenades, and this is as toxic as possible, because the hellish grenade spam often catches me. Is this cheating or is it still a mistake?

It's a game bug/exploit it's been in for a couple weeks almost.

Are you sure it's "endless" and not just the 14 that you can get if you wear a particular armor and a supply pack?

No, it's endless, you'll loop back to negative and throw -1 down to however many grenades are tossed out e.g -400 etc. you can see other players grenade counters.

I don't know why you're so adamant it's a hack, a quick google/youtube search would show you it's an exploit that's been in the game for awhile. You can replicate it yourself if you wish.

I meant the OP's specific situation. I mention this because there are others on here that didn't realize you can do 14 at once. (and because the patch notes said they fixed this)

OP mentioned negative numbers for the grenade counter, so it's most likely the exploit.

I told you why, in the very post you've quoted.
2-3 weeks ago we had hack ad posted here with a movie with this exact thing happening, together with unlimited ammo and immortality.

I was told that the specific exploit you mentioned was listed as fixed in the latest patch notes. Though there is also the possibility that people found a new way to replicate the bug.
