Then, we have those Scout walkers , they are always an inconvenience! For a low-tier Automaton, their armor and damage is a real issue when paired with other enemies!
As for the Terminids, the Charger. Spend so much time setting up a line of fire and turrets, only for one of those to charge through and ruin everything.
Players that try to attack everything that moves and aggro the whole map. Players that constantly throw AOE stratagems directly on top of all of the other players. Players that constantly deploy mortars in non-defense missions which kill teammates more than enemies. Or one of my favorites is those that like to toss out tesla towers or mines in the middle of the group.
-so many 1 shot or combo attacks that can leave u open to getting killed before having the chance to stim, mostly from just about any thing explosive. even with heavy armour with a 50% explosive resistance plus laying down to mitigate explosive damage isnt enough to keep you from being 1 shot from automaton explosives.
-can see you further than most guns we have access to can reach or see. ontop of the fog in every map being to thick to really get a outline of them yet they see you clear as day.
-can deploy swarms directly on your head with the drop ships. at least the termanids always seem to have space between you and the bug hole
-so many heavy armoured Foes that most primary/secondary weapons dont shine well. or just out right useless (like the LAS-5 or the punisher)
-far to accurate with their gun fire making running away nigh impossible. at least with termanids the mass majority of them cannot catch up to you running and most projectile termanids need to be really up close to begin fireing and have a high chance to miss if you just evade alot. but the automatons will literally snipe you from over 150m away even while diving to cover or barely even have a pixel of your head sticking out to shoot back.
but above all else. the other biggest enemy i hate the most. is players below level 15 some how ending up in a D6 or higher match.
spawn in large amounts, medium armor almost everywhere (no weakspot for light armor pen), extremely high health pool, long range tracking oneshots, no sound ques, on diff 6? and above they turn into long range artillery which will just randomly oneshot you as you're fighting off 350 hunters
people call automaton units bad, and they're right but that whole faction is just the pinnacle of bad game design, especially the insanely high accuracy shield dudes
