Can't vouch for Helldivers either, but I'm guessing since they already have all the information for their connecting players they know who was going solo / who wasn't.
i dont know the situation on how arrowhead handles "hacker carry" service. i just joined a random suicide-mission lobby. then saw all the guns and samples bugged into eachother. took some thinking it was a bug, then realised they were spawning more. i asked "u guys arent modding right" and they kicked me.
ubi and tarkov are pretty harsh with their bans. Ive only played with so far one confirmed hacker that I stopped playing with once we had proper evidence to support that they definitely used software. however I got really awful tarkov games after reporting them. as if I got shadowbanned or something.
i know r6 bans carry hacker noobs pretty often, i mean. good on them. but you really need to be able to tell the difference between some guy smurf hacking and an actual carry service loser.
If people only knew how bad cheating is in multiplayer games, people will just stop playing these games altogether.
But corporations wouldn't allow that, because all their revenue mostly comes from multiplayer games these days.
So it's in their best interest to hush hush about this subject, and make sure that the narrative is corrected by telling you that cheating isn't a problem because they use anti cheat software, which is lies of course it just doesn't work in reality..
This is just how the cookie crumbles in the gaming industry right now.
