My personal Tierlist

Just a simple documentation of my thoughts and opinions on the Strategems in the game.
I do want to note I prefer fighting the Terminids over Automatons, as I am not a fan of dropping into a mission and be sorrounded 20 seconds later with 5 rocket devastators, 20 walkers and be shot at by a cannon turret and bombarded with artillery. Plus with the maps being covered in fog 90% of the mission duration, to where you can't see ♥♥♥♥ is less of a problem with enemies that charge at you.

PATRIOTIC ADMINISTRATION CENTER

FUN - Machine Gun - Simple, straight forward, kills a lot of things, solid all around!

MID - Anti-Materiel Rifle - you'd expect an anti material rifle to have higher armor penetration, but it can't even go through the Walkers front plate to kill the driver. Or so it seems to me anyway, maybe i have just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aim or the driver ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Neo'd that ♥♥♥♥ as it went through.

FUN - Stalwart - same as the MG, just more mobile.

EPIC - EAT-IT - (I know it's EAT-17, but if you read it in leet, the 17 stands for IT, and considering you literally shove it in the mouth of a bile titan, it just seems funnier) I run every mission with it, it is exactly what I want from it, FANTASTIC VALUE!

FUN - Recoilless Rifle - same as the EAT-IT but I like to use a different backpack option.

NICHE - Flamethrower - cool, it either kills everything or nothing at all, wish it would see more use.

FUN - Autocannon - I do not like the reload, but it is a good weapon for which you can get a lot of mileage for.

NICHE - Railgun - performs better against Automatons i'd say, again I personally rather just have an EAT IT with me

ORBITAL CANNONS

TRASH - Gatling Barrage - I'd rather just use an eagle.

TRASH - Airburst Strike - I'd rather just use an eagle.

MID - 120mm HE Barrage - I'd rather just use an eagle. xD

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - 380mm HE Barrage - I'd rather just an eagle and it gets more friendly than enemy kills.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - Walking Barrage - yeah i am not even gonna comment on this one.

FUN - Laser - SPICY MAGNIFYING GLASS!

FUN - Railcannon Strike - I'd rather just use an EAT-IT :3

HANGAR

FUN - Strafing Run - BRRRRRRRRRRRRT!

EPIC - Airstrike - Dispensing Freedom!

EPIC - Cluster Bomb - Dispensing Freedom over a bigger area!

NICHE - Napalm Airstrike - same with the flamethrower, I'd wish it would see more use!

NICHE - Jump Pack - fun to use, but can also scam you.

TRASH - Smoke Strike - just go behind a rock and crouch dude.

MID - 110mm Rocket Pods - just incredibly underwhelming. Prone to missing.

FUN - 500kg - It's kind of a scam for me to be honest, in the preview video they use it on a terminid nest and none of the holes get plugged xD Would be cool to use it for closing holes!

BRIDGE

FUN - Oribital Precision Strike - solid. ♥♥♥♥ if it bounces.

MID - Gas Strike - it does too little in my opinion, plus the are of effect is tiny.

FUN - EMS Strike - can be really good when it comes to saving your ass or stopping an advance (unless they just ignore the stun and kill you anyway)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - Orbital Smoke Strike - turn around, there is a rock, go behind it.

FUN - HMG Emplacement - as the description says "place it wisely", if you do that it can tear ass, if not, it will most likely be instantly destroyed.

MID - Shield Generator Relay - ROCK! GO BEHIND IT!

FUN - Tesla Tower - it can either, roast you and your squad, roast the enemy and last the entire cooldown time, or get instantly destroyed.

ENGINEERING BAY

FUN - Anti-Personnel Minefield - I wish they had a lower cooldwon time so I can just leave these gifts EVERYWHERE on the map for my friends :3

NICHE - Supply Pack

EPIC - Grenade Launcher - if instead of a backpack we could have 2 support weapons with us, i would gladly pick up the EAT IT and the grenade launcher

NICHE - Laser Cannon - Laser pointers from Detroit be wildin'

FUN - Incendiary Mines - same as anti personnel, wish they had less cooldown :3

EPIC - Rover - the amoun of times I've been saved from Hunters nibbling on my ass by this thing is incredible, sure it can roast you too, but that happens to me rarely enough to not be an issue.

NICHE - Ballistic Shield - strong combo with the Defender SMG, but other than that i would just want my Rover

FUN - Arc Thrower - the only reason why it is not EPIC for me is because I like to have my EAT IT

NICHE - Shield Generator Pack - it got nerfed, as expected, it can be good in a pinch when you have no reinforcements left and want to make sure you don't die.

ROBOTICS WORKSHOP

MID - Machine Gun Sentry - absolved by the Gatling.

FUN - Gatling Sentry - 9/10 needs more ammo

NICHE - Mortar Sentry - probalby not so useful against terminids, it seems my squadmates all mysteriosly die whenever I put this sentry down, hmmm

MID - Dog. - a worse Rover with limited ammo, would atleast be cool if you could give it a weapon to be used

EPIC - Autcannon Sentry - I prefer this over the autocannon+backack as it doesn't need to reload and can cover for you quite well.

FUN - Rocket Sentry - Fancy a rocket up your arse?

FUN - EMS Mortar - solid stun for an extended period of time, when it hits.

EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC - PATRIOT EXOSUIT - DISPENSING FREEDOM AND SPREADING DEMOCRAZY YEAAAAH!!!
