Remove hunter slow, and I'm 100% fine with them.

And increase group sizes. We need more reason to take AoE specific stuff. And machine gun/flamer.

I want more warriors at higher difficulties. And by more, I mean 3x the number what we see.

Also spewers annoy me because of their huge health pool. If you don't have explosives on you, you're kinda screwed. And there are SO MANY OF THEM.

When I'm in a team of friends I make sure.someone has GL or autocannon to counter spewers. Without em, they are a curse.

Let alone the green spewers, who for some ungodly reason has armor all over them (including top), and literally no weak side compared to the yellow ones as far as I can tell. They are simply harder.

Removing the slow would just neuter them. You would just run away from them the same way you can run away from every other bug - except stalkers. The slow is specifically what makes them a threat.

well...people simply don't get it: bugs are not about single unit that is somehow especially dangerous if you know the basic game mechanics - it's their number: one hunter/stalker ist more ore less easy to handle...10-20 hunters and/or maybe several stalkers are most probably going to swarm you to death if there is no cover....s
ame goes for bile spewer...at distance and with cover they're easy peasy...but 2-3 of them and no or little cover while there are warriors, etc. around....well..different story...

more warriors is pointless. theyre almost as inconsequential as scavengers maybe less even because scavs call for breaches way faster so i usually end up shooting even scavengers before i shoot warriors lol.

No, nothing is inconsequential. You only have so many bullets to shoot at a singular time.

Larger groups will increase the difficulty significantly. Along with forcing teamwork far more than the current anti armor meta.

As for hunters, they outrun any helldiver. And can 2-3 shot a helldiver without shields. And they use a 3 hit combo. So they can shred you instantly.

Warriors can also instantly cap a light armor helldiver.

If you can think of ways to increase the difficult outside of completely neutering a unit I'm all ears.

Removing the slow and increasing the numbers isn't an even trade, the player can outrun a horde of hunters as it is, removing their slow and increasing the numbers of other bugs isn't even remotely close to an equal trade off at all.

Helldiver's cannot outrun hunters. I don't think armor impacts speed (pretty sure it's just stamina), but just in case it does, I run light armor with stamina booster.

If I could, I wouldn't have to turn around and kill them all the time lol.

The other thing. They need more than JUST hunters to flank. Bug AI could use improvement.

yeah even if they use their jump you can usually just run away after diving their attack. the slow is just there to keep you honest.

warriors need to be able to kill you fast because they have literally nothing else. they move slow and die fast with a huge weakpoint. you can just kite them endlessly even if you dont use one of the many different ways to kill them en masse. in all seriousness they are probably the most useless bug in the lineup. i dont want more of them. i want to fight more of the difficult things.
the whole point of warrior bugs is that if youre ever shooting them instead of something else, theyre winning because youve failed target priority.

Go watch 1:57, takes 3 hits to kill an already injured player.

The player in question has the reaction time of my gran so, he dies.

We absolutely can out sprint them. This isn't even open for debate.

Well, I cannot outsprint hunters. I've tried many a time. So lucky you.

Also, that dude had like 70% of his health taken from 1 shot, and like 10% from the second.

If a hunter gets a full combo on me without a shield, I die every time in light armor. All I can tell ya.

Just because you can do something in a game does not make it a good design choice. Kiting and outrunning mobs for 200m while you pick off hunters and deal with 50 spewers spawning in while another pack of hunters gets dumped on you out of thin air as a 'patrol'...its doable sure, but its not that fun, and the whole running away while shooting thing is totally not Helldiver behaviour anyway.

wow thats a really good write up and gj thinking of the big picture!

people were complaining about chargers before and they got nerfed. now its the hunters.

my takeaway from this is whichever bug is strongest people will want nerfed no matter what
