Why do so many people point to the 10 spare mags while ignoring the fact the mags have reduced capacity on top of the reduced damage? There is a reason the pierce assault burnt through more mags for less kills than the super citizen Knight SMG (Knight is actually pretty okay!... compared to assault rifles... but gets ♥♥♥♥ all ammo back.)
You are talking trash about ammo economy, while praising an infamously terrible gun, terrible in part because of the scam ammo. You are making me look like a genius by comparison, and that is always a bad sign.
Even ignoring "Mocked by community dev ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" levels of "Why didn't you spam strats on hunters and stalkers instead of spitters and titans? gosh" nonsense that only works if you spend 90% of your match running away not shooting. And I say that as an airburst lover who enjoys throwing that at trash (you know, when the game isn't spamming scatter debuff so I can't bring airburst without it becoming a full party teamkill)
Next thing you will tell me it is your team's fault they died to an airstrike you throw onto their respawn beacon.
Right now its basically an LMG with infitnite ammo reserves and a 99 round magazine.
Please, stop watching me play :(
One guy was so, so sorry that happened and cost us the purples at the last second. It was a good team of randoms that forgave him.
i'm not praising it? I'm literally just calling bs on what you're saying tbh with you. (The ammo economy and otherwise comment was actually about the regular liberator btw.)
And even then people only think it has better than regular lib ammo economy when 30 x 11 is 330 (I forgot it has 11 because of the one in the gun already xddd) and 45 x 8 is 360
Also, yeah, just like the first game you're actually supposed to use your strats in conjuction with actually shooting with your actual weapons?
You're not meant to be hosing down entire hordes of enemies with a single method.
That's not even a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's literally how they intended the game to be played?
I also don't run airstrikes like that if my team is already running anti-chaff stuff
Because, again, it's a team game and stratagem/weapon balance is tied around that, minus the shotguns which all the solo-player brained people have honed in on (And the people who can't aim and try to use the pellets to make up for not hitting weakpoints)
Do you not have your stratagem keys rebound to something you can press while moving?????
Like lmfao what.
Like dude, you don't even have to rebind just take a jump pack and do it midair when you jump then turn midair and throw it behind you.
Ppl sleep on strafing run, for instance, literally deletes hordes of hunters coming after you, had my eyes opened after qp'ing into a 9 and saw someone running it, literally any breach we had every enemy was controlled because we weren't playing like solo-play jackasses.
It also doesn't have a 99 round mag btw
Though it's reserve ammo being lowered would make it more "balanced" but nothing else really needs to be touched about it.
This is great detail and you're still an idiot.
Yes, and you're disregarding that I'm saying you cycle through the full staged reload animation of pulling the bolt back and putting the weapon into battery, then shooting your leftover round and then it makes you do another reload again
It happens pretty consistently, because there's a reload glitch
You ape.
Because, again, if you actually read the post I said "it makes you cycle through a full reload to where you pull the bolt back, and then forces you to reload again and drop another mag"
Before it would just make you do another reload and not consume another magazine, after the last patch that adjusted charger spawns it just eats a whole mag when it happens now.
Then you'd wish you can actually aim*
Like seriously if you're running into issues with the sickle (Or regular lib) vs a single stalker it's user issue.
Hard to go back to slugger after sickle tho, so I'm trying the breaker spray and pray as a middle ground.
At intermediate ranges when they're invisible and the Sickle's shooting a pie plate circle, it isn't exactly a slam dunk for face shots. Spool up time on the Sickle also makes it a less than ideal snapshotting weapon at close range.
Appreciate your perspective though.
But yeah the scythe and dagger need a massive buff.
I can see if you're the more mobile fighting/Kiting kind of person, but I'm the Leroy Jenkins run into the inescapable horde with a 500k in my hand ready to go down kind of guy.
