This is cool idea to destroy the heavy bunker door.
I was thinking about some special stratagem too, like for the missions where upload some hacking code to device and defend area. You could do that at bunker's door terminal too. Or even have some support equipment, like "Hacker Backpack", or "Explosive Charges Backpack" with 4 charges. You place two of them at the door and bOOm, open sesame.
Move on to the next POI.
It's more likely related to team play. To let people communicate and coordinate on varied objectives.
The issue is the SOS really. Being able to open the mission at any time kinda creates the option of exploiting (say a split team could need 1 man to open the doors) and removes the option of spawning something else when going solo because just imagine how much less double doors you'd be seeing when joining already started missions.
It sucks, but I think it's fair. If you really want to see what's inside just throw an sos, the option is always there ultimately and it costs nothing but the risk of calling in some psycho.
Personally I'd leave the door closed, but the means are there.
There is pretty much no communication, but it isnt realy needed anyways, everyone should know what to do.
Sure if you play with 3 other over voice it makes thing easier.
But these doors are just weird, there isnt anything else in the Game that needs two people to activate.
And as someone who mostly plays 7-8 solo these doors are realy anoying.
Reminds me of the stupid doors in Dead Space 3 where you got the message "this is for coop only".
Lets us open these door solo would be a nice change, but also not realy needed for me personal because i dont have much left to unlock.
Its not about "hur dur git gud" but about opening more playstyles and options for players. More options is always good.
Same way like you can just nuke some objectives with stratagems instead of interacting with them or using hellbomb.
Or you can solo rising satelite dish.
Want easy way? Do coop. Want goodies without working? Well suffer.
But this game will die before we get some good game design ...
Show me on the doll where the microtransactions touched you...
The dev has not yet shown anything to make you believe they will go this route.
At least give people the chance to fail before you shout doom.
