Why are people killable in the dropship?
Dropped in on a random group during extraction and one of the players teamkilled us because someones turret killed them at some point earlier. Didnt even know that was possible until I started hearing about it a few day ago and saw it firsthand just now. Add to the fact that the report system doesnt work unless they type something and the old commend/report feature is gone, I'm seeing a lot of glaring oversights in this game that speak to a lack of QA.

Dev really think that most people in the ONLINE space are nice people so they didn't put a simple failsafe against it.
Well they learned it the hard way during the game's launch didn't they?

Twice now Ive died to a donut who wants to see a 500kg bomb go off on the extraction cinematic.... D1p 5#1t5
Because it is fun. You know, the point of games. Fun? Not sure you remember what that is like though.

It might be fun for you-But what about your team mates who have just spent the last 30 minutes or so collecting samples and stuff and now they are all gone-For your fun.

My fun doesn't have to victimise anyone else. Not sure you remember that yours shouldn't either.

What? No it doesn't. My reason didn't go anywhere.

If your flesh is exposed and I shoot bullets into it, what do you think is going to happen? You're gonna die. That's realistic. Having your character model no longer take damage because the mission is over, that's video game logic.
Then why is it that explosive damage no longer affects players when they get into the drop ship? if you toss grenades inside the back it does zero damage to the players inside. same goes for the explosions of tanks and artillery.

I am guessing the dropship acts as some sort of box that prevents damage coming in and a grenade falls to the ground under it. A damage source that sources from inside the drop ship because its so big it covers it, isnt passing through the protective wall-Its already inside.

At least thats what it looks like to me.

Your samples aren't gone, they are in the ship if you had gotten into the ship. Extraction only gives bonus exp and R which is mostly useless. Once you get in that ship the samples are secured even if you die sitting there.
