Is there a way to disable the intro video on PC?

As per title, I would love to know if this is possible via a start up cmd such as -novid etc

Holding escape key for 3 seconds or such is just a PITA and QOL for gamers should be a priority not having to watch or press a button to skip an intro we have seen a thousand times already.

EDIT: I would also like to see a way we could skip end of round displays such as rewards etc, most ppl know what rewards they got or it (the rewards outcome) could be placed instead into the ship menu / waiting area for eg ( in game option incase ppl need clarification. )

well, if you just click or pres ESC or do anything while its playing, you just skip it and go to your ship. The only time it was unskipable for me, was when the servers were having issues and I couldnt get in.

Pressing Space bar skips it for me, other than that I don't know if it can be disabled permanently.

I hope the devs allow the option that we can disable the intro video via a cmd argument, or in game setting.

Disable the video... and the cinematic after each mission... OMG, this is a pain in the ass...

No, not after each mission. Not sure where you get that from what I said above.

I am asking a simple in game option to disable the intro video and another in game option you select so you can skip the rewards screen after each mission.

I better add a disclaimer for ppl like you @Bazuzeus -

DISCLAIMER - This would be a one time in game option, simple?

I have yet to find which files are the intro videos to disable them..

It is usually a procedure i do with EVERY GAME... but for HD2 still i can't find which files are the intro videos..

There is a way to skip the Intro (if the servers are online, that is).
In Steam go to Helldivers 2 Properties --> LAUNCH OPTIONS and use the following
+connect_lobby 999999999999999999

It will try to connect to this _imaginative_ lobby, it can't, no error will show, be happy.

You can also just enter 000 instead of all those 9's

Works as charm! The game will flash with some modal-error, but it'll get you to your ship ASAP.
Multiple '9' is unnecessary. Just use any incorrect value. I'm using '-1'
