That said? it is jank. Game loves to spawn you out of bounds already sometimes when it steals controls of your drop pod. And enemies love to be attacking from positions outside the map border to ♥♥♥♥ with you.
"Hmm, do I let the tank keep shooting us with no cover for 1,000 feet? Or risk getting behind it fast enough to kill it before the traitor timer finishes..."

I mean, if you're choosing to drop at the outer edges of the map, that's mostly your own fault. The game isn't going to push you that far.
The reason it miss them is because its the same operator as the one from the 380MM
4x 380mm barrages at the start followed by as many traitor barrages as you can muster are the best way to complete extermination defense missions. And when I say best, i mean most hilarious of course.
