ADD AUTO SPRINT PLEASE

I had to edit this because people are either mad ignorant or are brand new to gaming and have no idea what the difference between toggle sprint and auto sprint is.

Toggle sprint just means no holding shift but still holding W
Auto sprint would be exactly what it sounds like, auto running

this would allow you to run and uyse stratagems easier, but its ultimately for the thousands of gamers with hand related injuries, allowing us to avoid straint. If you don't have wrist issues then you probably never had the thought of needing an auto sprint, but it exists in hundreds of shooters we love and play today for the same reason. Accessibility !

The devs did a great job already with the tap, long hold, press, etc.. options for gamers

For now at least you can make it a toggle to sprint using change bindings. (Instead of Hold "Shift", you can change it to Press "Shift" for example)

toggle sprint is very different from auto run. I do not care about toggle sprint, just auto run.

No you can't.. Helldivers 2 also doesnt let you use outside programs to create an auto run, I have an auto run program i use and helldivers disables it.

i mapped sprint and dive to the 2 side buttons on my mouse if that can help ya out a bit lol

The game has auto sprint just need changed it keybinding setting in game

you have press or Hold, think long hold to activate it

what doesn't have is auto run wish it did for those long treks across the map

Auto run is very unusual in action games. You usually see this kind of thing in MMOs and other casual games but there's enough long-distance trekking that I could see the use for it.

Good idea, would like to use shift to disable running instead, but I'm so used to shift+w to dodge chargers
