Eradicate sucks
I never liked that mission to begin with. I never farmed XP on it. But it was just a minor nuinsance before. After the awful patch, requiring 450+ kills to complete this awful mission in a tiny area, surrounded by bots sending you flying all the time, it is just rage inducing. I wish there was way to filter out this mission...or tone down again the number of kills required, cuz it is just too much now.

Yeah it's very difficult since the latest patch. The only time I've had a game where we didn't use nearly all of our reinforcements was when everyone brought in mortar and ems mortar sentries, which I would recommend. In some maps, there are also pillars that you can drop onto the top of (when reinforcing) and snipe from (and enemies generally won't hit you if you go prone).

100% agree. Thought it was really lame before they patched it and avoided it for that reason. Now it feels like cancer to play and avoid it for that reason.

Wish they'd find some middle ground with it either by manipulating the wave patterns or perhaps by expanding the area of the map so you actually have movement options for when the base eventually gets overrun.

Use the enemies against one another. If you do bots, blow up the jetpack guys, they act like grenades in a big group of bots. Use EMS mortars and mine fields (This is one of those rare cases where mine fields are awesome! Blow yourself up with cluster bombs. Wanna see a kill stream of 70+? Line that baby right where you are and let er rip!

Just drop big orbital strikes in the middle, you have lots of reinforcements so may as well use them...also be a traiter by walking out of the map , then run around and let the bombardment take out tons of enemies before you die

A large number of enemies spawn in a short period of time, so there is no time to wait for the cooldown of the strategic support. There is also not enough ammunition. And the sample is small. If we want to keep the current number of enemies and spawn pace, we need to reduce the cooldown by half.

This will create a chaotic battlefield with lots of shells and bombs.

the mission isn't the best. it's way too easy on div 9, just have each person activate a battery and someone throw turrets far from the map center and the bugs spawn on the turrets. then it's a piece of cake. really silly of the devs.
its easily my least favorite aspect of the game that every single campaign has an eradicate mission. i will hunt down a campaign with a blitz mission just so I can complete one.

Or, they could re-work it so it's actually an eradication mission instead of a pointless defense mission.

As in, a full map with a full timer where the goal is to kill a certain number of bugs.

It's manageable with 4 players but basically impossible solo. It will need to be balanced according to the player count. There might be an issue with people joining mid-game tho.

Eradicate should just be deleted and replaced with a real tower defense map or something. It's just not fun.

Yeah eradicate is pretty boring. No samples outside of commons either.

I just wish the map was twice as big and the enemy spawns slower and more concentrated. At the moment a lvl 6 robot map literal non stop drop ships, everywhere, constantly, and we often win these but it's just a massacre of calling in strats and diving around and that's if you're lucky. I.... don't think it makes much sense.

TSLA tower ruins their day. will literally cut off an entire side of the map and most of the time the bugs are too stupid to attack it unless you place it right on the breach itself

I love when there are 5 tanks and 4 hulks camping extract. The increased spawn rate for eradication just makes it death simulator.
