Team killing and kicking

Lately I've been getting team killed and kicked off sometime into a mission, there's no way to understand why and report players for griefing like this. One of the times the guy said "I wasn't shooting enough" teamkilled me and kicked me out. It just happened again, 20 min into a mission where I was following all the objectives, didn't accidentally kill anyone... I don't get it. These players should have a reputation system or something akin to what we have on Rainbow Six Siege, I guess?

It's weird behaviour and though I love the game, I don't want to play it anymore...+

last time i got team killed for 3 new players, for lukcy, i was the host and they all got kicked.

The weekend is always ♥♥♥♥ for TK's, on a rase the flag mission had a guy today drop a Gatling sentry in the middle of the squad while we where getting swarmed. then it killed everyone, was told not to do it, then the tool did the same thing again, to i shot him in the leg, they said, stop shooting me, then did the same thing again, and i kicked his ass, and blocked him.

It's a rage inducing game so players naturally go a little crazy, and like most people they look to the nearest person to blame and take out their frustration. This is why there is so much vindictive kicking of other players.

All you can do is puff out your chest reload your pew pew and keep on diving. For democracy hates a quitter.

it is good practice to put a gatling there, u just need to L A Y F L A T,
did u play the tutorial soldier? when a gatling or any turret is active, stay low or put em high.

This is the best advice I give everyone: Turn off crossplay, block uncalled for kickers, then move on. There's a lot of mentally ill or flat stupid people that it's not worth your time or energy to dwell on.

it dont guarantee the best matches, but yes, playing with crossplay disabled improves the team quality a lot.

Is it rage inducing? The first couple of months was pure fun, it still is when everyone is working together but being kicked 30 minutes into a mission to be left alone is just... uhg...

It's very much rage inducing especially in the higher difficulties, because of the chaos and randomness that's going on. If you have a dead weight team member who isn't doing his part, it's increasing multiplicatively. I do diff 10 solo runs and sometimes they feel easier than with some of the absolute idiots I get in my team as randoms. Not to mention most of these who can't play the game join high difficulty just to expect someone to carry them there. These are narcissists and should be kicked asap.

Game is best played with a friend group you know and at the level where you all enjoy and not get frustrated.

It's literally my first day playing this game, and I guess someone had to leave the game mid-mission, because they killed me and my teammate and left the game. Really sucks when I've spent an hour trying to accrue as much bug blood on my character as possible just for my teammate to shoot me multiple times with a shotgun and kill me. And there's apparently no reporting for griefing at all on this game? Like people can just join games and RDM everyone if they think its fun, and theres just NO consquence?

Yeah what you're describing is pretty much what I'm concerned about, I'd like the Devs to take note when a player teamkills and kicks.

TK in this game I think is okay, it happens, it's part of the fun, I've played helldivers on the vita when it came out and it was always part of the fun in positioning and calling stuff, so I don't mind it when it happens by accident.

But to TK and kick is just strange to go unpunished after spending so much time trying to help the team, following the leader, getting samples and all that

I understand people saying "its fine just don't care so much" but it's like losing a save game and wasting 40 minutes of time, that's why it's really bumming me out

I don't even waste my time playing with rando anymore. Have tried for two weeks to get into decent match but always get TK over some grief even though I'm the only one who will call revive or get objective. Just a waste of time. Solo or with friends the only way to play this heap

It is better now that at least when you get kicked you get your own instance to try and salvage what you can of the run but I agree getting kicked for no apparent reason spoils the mood and also makes me not log in again for extended periods of time.

I did turn off voice chat because it's like a car horn no one uses it for its intended purpose, they only use it to attack others or be annoying with overly specific orders on difficulty 7 that anyone can just solo or sleep through in a group.

I have been tempted to host but I cannot be bothered to babysit three other players lol. So I suppose.
