We dive together, or not at all!
The PSN issue has not been resolved. Divers from across large swaths of Super Earth are still being banned from playing Helldivers 2 for NO REASON AT ALL. I will not be playing until the PSN requirement is permanently revoked and every country and "region" of Super Earth is allowed back in.

We dive together, or not at all.

Diver Dwolite, Level 75, over 200 hours in-game.

Aren't ppl who own it still able to play? New peeps just can't buy it. At least that's what I think it is

Wildcard - I have been boycotting the game since this issue began. Sony did not eliminate the PSN requirement - they only delayed it. And divers from across Super Earth are still not allowed to purchase the game - and those that are being "allowed" to play currently won't be once they enact the PSN requirement. Until and unless Sony states they will not be requiring PSN to play Helldivers 2 and let's everyone back in from across Super Earth, I will not be playing Helldivers 2 again. I stand with my fellow Helldivers. And I stand firm. I will not relent.

They already said they wouldn't dude. No psn requirement. They already backed down dawg

Wildcard - the reason that I'm posting this now is to keep the issue alive. Looking over the reviews, there are still thousands of divers who are just like me... but looking over the discussions, all I see are people talking about nerfs and balancing issues. Those are minor issues when compared to the ongoing PSN issue. So, I posted this now. But if you would like to look, you can find my original negative review posted the day of the original PSN requirement announcement. I have not changed my stance in all that time.

PrisRad - you are incorrect. They only stated they will not be moving forward with the May 6 deadline... they have NOT in any way stated they will not be requiring a PSN link in the future. And the fact that somewhere around 180 "regions" and countries are still not allowed to purchase the game, with each of those "regions" and countries representing an area where PSN is not available, proves me right. Sony has not relented or backed down.

Your right, but we got what we wanted, at least for now. Keep our reviews negative will only hurt the game, not Sony. There r better ways to attack Sony that doesn't involve nuking helldiver's reputation, like boycotting and negatively reviewing other games

They'll just wait until the player count is so low that even if people are upset they won't be able to make any noise about it.

Silverlight - you are exactly correct. Sony is playing the long game - they want Helldivers 2 to suffer and for players like me to go away. But I won't. I love this game. And the only way to fight is to keep fighting. I can't post more negative reviews, but I can join into the discussions and keep this issue visible. I'm doing my part. For Managed Democracy!

This was my understanding too. Dive together or not at all? I spent my 40$ and Imma get my moneys worth. Kudos to the warriors spending money on a big corp game only to not play the game you already bought.

DapperDeeds - that is your choice, but understand that there are divers out there right now who either cannot dive with you due to this PSN issue or are boycotting the game in their defense, like I am. That hurts you too - as player count is dropping like a rock. You do not have to boycott the game, like I am, but you can certainly show support for us. We are your fellow divers, after all.

they rolled that back, you are like a month late lol. Also your profile is private so we can't verify any of your claims of level or hours.

Dwolite - what PSN issue? They are allowing those who already bought to play and are not requiring linking right now. The ones who can't buy the game aren't out anything. They also issued a boatload of refunds for people with a lot of hours... way more generous than I would have been. I support the idea of supporting others who have been wronged... but the game still gets to peak of close to 100K so I dont think it'll be going anywhere soon. Come on back to the front Helldiver!
