Patrol spawn rates and solo diving
The patrol spawn rate change is making this game nearly impossible to play solo on "high" difficulty. Bots or bugs makes no difference. Currently, when I try to solo a difficulty 7 mission (previously easily doable) I encounter the first patrol within 1 minute of dropping every single time, without fail, and if I have to engage that patrol then I will reliably be stuck in combat for the entire rest of the mission. And by that I mean ACTIVELY in combat; if the first patrol calls a breach or drop, which they almost inevitably do because of how huge the patrols are now, it takes me exactly as long to clear that situation as it does for the next patrol to show up. It's like clockwork; it's actually consistent enough to make me almost think that it's scripted. There's no room for stealth whatsoever, and no chance to disengage once you're rolling. I am literally getting stuck running around in circles in one spot on the map clearing enemies until I run out of reinforces or time, with no chance to even think about the objective. Even if you manage to wipe the first patrol or two with an airstrike or something and actually start moving across the map, you get screwed the second that you start trying to do an objective. Bugs or bots both have this problem in equal measure.

This is a wildly unfun gameplay pattern. It's as though you cranked the difficulty up 10,000% on Vermintide or COD zombies. Even if you play well, and have good moments, like good strategem uses or clean/quick kills on armored enemies, it doesn't feel good and it isn't satisfying simply because you will still be fighting for your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life immediately afterwards; you aren't getting rewarded for those good plays in any way. You don't even have time to think about it before you're immediately trying to solve the next problem. Eventually something will slip, whether that's eagle rearm, running out of ammo, getting stuck on random terrain, or whatever, and you will die. Then when you respawn you can reengage the same group, starting the cycle again immediately, or run away, and delay the cycle by about 2 minutes before the next patrol finds you.

The "1 man vs the world" feeling is only good when it feels like you have the tools to actually prevail in some way - as it stands right now, it feels completely futile. I don't even want to log in unless I have friends online already at this point. Arrowhead please; I love this game like I loved the first one, but I can't take this anymore. I'm begging for you to fix it.

I ran a 2 solo yesterday to get some credits for the new bond and immediately got mobbed by guys.

It was crazy. I actually had to use stratagems. On 2.

Even if this means we're faced with more bugs and bots than even the bravest of citizens would deem realistic for a while longer, we hope you're happy with us fixing the problem.

Patrol rates have been bugged for a while and this is known. Squads with less than 4 players get the same amount of patrols as a full squad, even if you're solo.

This has been acknowledged by the devs already and is going to be reverted, as stated by Twinbeard in the official Discord.

the question is when?
and while they do that should they add aswell that not your player name is shown when someone gets killed by your sentry, land mine or whatever.

i got a bit ago BLASTED by a lv 2 newbie and called me a team killer because he ran MULTIBLE TIMES into the fire of my sentry and my name got ofcourse shown.

but because that newbie didnt knew that it is literarly a bug etc. was he insuting me, blasting me via voice and said he´s gonna report me for team killing even tho it was his own fault by running over my mines which are clearly vissible on the ground and running all the time into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fire of my deployed sentry for WHO KNOWS reason ...

Didn't they fix the patrols yet? I thought they announced they were reverted to the old default. Haven't they actually done it yet?

They announced they are actioning them in an unpinned discussion that's now lost on like page 8, but haven't done it yet.

I can finish most mission types on level 7.....but getting any amount of samples is a struggle....

level 63 and still havent unlocked the third tier of my ship
