Seriously Arrowhead STOP giving us pea shooters! Proof in the videos!

I had ZERO fun....

You get SWARMED at extraction by bots 4 to 5 Hulks a million Troopers, 25 Berserkers, 7 Rocket Berserkers, a whole army of Devestators, and on top Shield berserkers ranging from 5 to 7 units MILLION lasers firing at you.....

And we end up using god forsaken PEA SHOOTERS that do jack 5hit of course the best course of action is to move away from extraction to lure enemy. But thats not the point.

They literally SUCKED the joy out of this game with such PEA shooters incl the Eruptor can't even one shot berserkers anymore now takes 3 shots! Striders now take i kid you NOT if your unlucky 5 SHOTS! FIVE SHOTS with the Eruptor..let that sink in (used to be ONE shot) ...complete utter TRASH!

This is what they call "fun"....If the enemy has all these BENEFITS why can't WE return the favor? NO...

It's not about the difficulty its about fairness and having tools to have an answer for these situations constant million lasers and you are NOT allowed to answer back with PROPER primaries! Heck some of them can even KILL you....Just sad and very incompetent from the AH devs...

The purifier sucks and is not a one hit as shown in the trailer because they buffed Strider AoE HP right before the warbond released, but they're clearly shooting them in the strider's guns in this video, which has literally never been a weakspot with any weapon and literally always resulted in less damage with every weapon.

But it does suck. It sucks bad. But so does this guy.

Man this skill issue vid upsets me on a visceral level.

Like, the WHOLE scout strider is a weak spot with plasma weaponry except the guns. You could literally shoot anywhere also, the legs, the top plate, the crotch, but nah Doctor Genius is hitting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tippy top of the guns.

It's a two hit with the purifier, same as the plasma punisher. But not the guns. if you shoot the strider guns it's far more than 2 and also you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, don't shoot the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns.

But this video bothered me so much I had to double comment like it is SO BAD it's like if i made a video saying the quasar is bad and only hit the sides of a charger lol.

The purifier is bad enough and now I'm subjected to both a bad weapon and such horrendous skill issue vid my day is absolutely ruined thankyou OP.

The Eruptor at launch could one shot Striders fully at their armor plate 100% since it is the schrapnel damage that took it down and DESERVED for its MANY many drawbacks SLOW SLOW reload slow aim BAD accuracy and able to kill you or your mates! Its saving grace should be HARD hitter.

Nerf 2....i know what you mean by targetting the Striders leg joint or Knee joint i could still after nerf 1 take it down with ONE shot even from 100m with good sniping skills but on to:

They removed the REWARD for a good sniping shot at the Striders leg or knee joint IT the Eruptor wont take it down it NOW takes i KID you not everywhere between 2 to 5 shots!!! And yeah i keep counting the shots the highest was 4 to 5 shots pretty often now....WTF man! Most fps shooters use this method "Very slow reload single bolt action gun" = HEAVY HITTER ie ONE shot many enemies! Its sad that so many other pea shooters can actually kill like 10 elite units and a whole bunch of troopers at the time you are DONE with TRIPPLE loading your Eruptor just to kill ONE beserker!

If there is a skill issue on where you hit an enemy, does it still invaluates the experiences one does make? Because nobody on this earth is you, except you. Put yourself in the shoes of one another and think what/how something made someone feel.

If a thing is unfun to another person, it's not you, it's the person not having fun. Maybe you're an absolute ace that owns helldive just playing with the starter pistol, who knows, that would be an insanely good skill to have. But other persons are never you nor are you them.


Plus: The trailer showed in no uncertain terms to 1 hit striders with a frontal shot. Yes, it "may be" that the shooter was already shooting at the front multiple times and that wouldn't make it cool. Yet: You can't just say "Advertisings always lying" because even if this is true, you can't assume everyone will always know.

It is a clear fact the the weapons are not good and many got nerfed way too much to make the experience "more balanced" but less fun, since the nerf-way, which is one of the most damaging to any pve game, always takes out fun and there still we always be a 'meta', lone wolfes mastering the highest difficulties with ease and such.


If you think the weapons are great I am very happy for you, because you can enjoy the game as is. But in the future, you really should start to think, especially when something's out of your personal control and you can't dictate if something is fun or unfun for others.

Agreed. I've bought Purified, played once. Now i won't touch it. The Breaker Incendiary even vs. bots is much much much better.

Plasma Purifier is basically a Plasma Punisher except it has a way lower rate of fire. It's officially the worst gun in the game.

Mate he made a video that the gun is ineffective (WHICH IT IS) but he did so by invalidating his point by shooting the least weak part of the thing. Even the autocannon didn't take down a scout strider by shooting it in the guns. Because that's not a weak spot, it has never been a weak spot. it will never be a weak spot.

It's a demonstration video how an explosive weapon is not able to 1 or 2 shot striders. As example, the Scorcher does. Usually 1 to 2 shots on the shield, done. The Scorcher is not the only one. Anti-Material Rifle does kill in 1 - 2 shots too while shooting at the basically strongest point of the strider.

Grenades kill striders in 1 shot too while hitting their shield... That is absolutely not the point. If you tend to be angrier then 15 seconds, its absolutely on you alone. Because someone else isn't having fun, isn't invaluiating your personal fun and/or experience.

There's a rule most people don't follow:
You do not attack someones values or anything else. You may defend your opinion, even heated, but you have to stay civilized. You're just attacking the original poster of this thread and/or the video creator(s).

It is not hard just to say "I don't have problems. I have fun and I don't see any problem at all" and really just move on.

To people saying the Strider got buffed...

In the TRAILER check the first downed Strider he shoots it fully at the armor plate! Second footage blast through the Strider front armor.

Second video it actually doesnt really matter where he shoots at because:

What do you call a "buff" on the Strider instead of 1 shot its now what 5 shots? PS the fifth shot never came he died i dont care if the guy is bad it just shows you what the weapon is capable off who knows if it takes 5 or 7 shots...THATS A MASSIVE BUFF compared to the ONE shot in the official trailer.

For refference the Eruptor could ONE shot it at launch.

Now takes i KID you not at times 4 to 5 shots! it's pretty 50/50 sometimes 2 shots sometimes 4 to 5 shots....And they even REMOVED the sniping skills to one shot it at its leg or knee joint with the Eruptor even from 100m at Nerf 1! Nerf 2 completely removed the reward for sniping. BTW the eruptor is extremely bothersome to play with slow slow reload and aim and BAD accuracy it should one shot certain enemies while other primaries can wipe out whole small armies AT the time you still struggle to kill just one Strider with 2 to 5 shots is beyond me If people still believe this is fun and that weapons are PEA shooters by design then i don't know what to say anymore...This game became a TRASHDIVERS 2 really quickly...

These guys at AH are pieces of dog fart period. Releasing trash weapons overall except the Pummeler (but rest asured that wil get a NERF soon!) unless AH gets its act together!
