You're not gonna believe this...
- Recoil on flamers and laser weapons
- Surviving a rocket shot or the main cannon shot of a tank
- 500kg effective radius of 10m
- Railcannon strike not obliterating any enemy in a single shot
- Constant meteor storms on inhabited planets
- ARs are less powerful than SMGs
- An overgrown bug tanking a literal AT rocket even when it hits in the head (behemoth/bile)
- AT cannons almost useless against overgrown bugs when in reality, they would actually go through side armour of MBTs, same goes for railgun
No, it just melts the thing wearing the armor. A huge difference that i'm sure the target appreciates.
Yeah, if only they had some sort of heat resistant armor in the future. Oh wait, we already have that today.
You are absolutely not in security in a tank or others armored thing if someone is heating it (flamer or other heat source)
and the flamer should have a backpack like autocanon, this weapon requiere a ton of fuel to shoot more than 5 second, their little canister is ridiculous...
Modern armor isn't made of bronze.
Exactly. The charger should STOP the flames passing through him to other bugs, but still die to the insane heat.
and dont tell me composite or glass or other stuff; firethrower can infiltrate everywhere with the pressure, one tiny hole and you are cooked
the main reasons why nobody use firethrower nowadays are the fuel canister need to be huge, it consume a lot of fuel and the range is bad compared to modern AT weapon
and im pretty sure its a war crime lol
ok but the helldivers are wearing massive tanky steel armoured master chief ahh suits that would probably put them in the threshold for the mines
stuff like scavengers though shouldnt set it off
The truth it:
They fixed the knife going through charger armour, the fix broke the flames going through it too.
They are not wearing MC suits since the protection they provide is laughable compared to MC suit. Also one of them has arms exposed and only light plating so it definitely shouldn't be setting off mines.
