Sentry Advice! Solved Thanks.
First off, if anyone has tips on how to deploy a well placed turret do share. My stratagems just bounce and land somewhere useless most of the time.

More importantly. Do EMS sentries stun Bile Titans? I havent tried them outside defense missions in so long I cant recall if they do or not. Or is it just EMS orbital that can stun Bile titans?

*Edit Basically I have nothing new to learn about turret placement. It is what it is. Ive had great experience with a well placed Rocket Turret rinsing Bile Titans but its very hard and totally down to luck to place them well enough that I can achieve the same experience over and over.

I usually just toss them to the side to either act as a distraction or it flanks the enemies. The machinegun turret works best with that.

Don't throw the beacon in a place enemies can't get; they bounce the vast majority of time. Try elevated positions and always make sure that you are behind the turrets, without enemies on your back. Another choice is to deploy them in ambush. Also, autocannon and rocket turrets should be deployed facing enemies, since they turn slowly.

EMS sentries do not stun Bile Titans, as far as i know.

Since they buffed the AP and improved the aim preference, MG turrets are surprisingly effective.

Thanks ok so it is just EMS Orbital that stuns Bile Titans.

Yeah I was really hoping Jet Pack coupled with Turrets would be awesome but you cant place turrets on rocks. And Buildings just get blown up if placed on top of.

I was hoping the old EAT trick of killing a Charger with the call down would work but the Turret gets destroyed by the dead charger body.

Yeah I love how effective they are now. Im just trying to work out where they are best placed.

I figure with bots a shield dome would come in handy. And against Bugs, using an EMS orbital against the Bile Titans. Stun grenades against the Chargers of course.

But overall placing them somewhere thats not on the ground would be nice too.

nothing stuns bile titans by the way

Nothing brings down Bile Titans faster than a Rocket Sentry but its stopping the Bile Titans reaching the Sentry which is the problem. So EMS Orbital it is and hopefully it doesnt bounce in the wrong place.

Defensive mission, 2 mortar sentries.
Fellow team mate number 1 dies.
Fellow number 1 runs again to the bug breaches spot close to the first entrance.
Fellow number 1 dies again.
Rise and repeat.
Fellow number 1 types in the chat: I've been team killed 3 times already!
Fellow number 1 runs again to the same spot and dies.
Fellow number 1 quit the game.

You see, there is not good place to toss the sentries if you play with people like this.

With the faster cooldown of MG turret, you just toss it out when needed. As long as its not directly at the enemies, it will thin out the chaff and lets you focus on the big enemies.

Yeah don't throw turrets onto hills and stuff. I usually climb up onto a high point then throw it at me feet and that will work 95% of the time(usually it just bounces for who knows what reason, can't help that). If you can climb it, then usually it will land there fine.

If you can put the turret below everyone, or above everyone and also put it to the side.

Thanks yeah I only usually bring MG turrets to Bug Search and Destroy scrambles when splitting up and dealing with nests solo.

I mostly take Rocket Turret these days to try and compensate for HMG or MG secondary builds to deal with Titans.

For Bots I just generally dont bother but since they buffed the Shield Dome im tempted to try in Bots now too.

The gatling and mg turrets are actually really useful on super helldive, because there is so many enemies swarming around every where. Also enemies will often target turrets over players, so you can throw them down to make a quick escape and they will murder a lot of enemies while they do.
