does the Flamethrower not spew liquid napalm anymore?
i used one today, it used to have a piss stream , now we're just blasting hot air???
what the hell, is this to justify flamethrowers bouncing off of Armor??
it still sticks to the ground right?

that was one of the more Realistic aspects of the Flamethrower, even if just Graphically.
i liked it, now its just another Generic Videogame flamethrower.
come on man if you wanna nerf it fine, but at least let me look cool using it.

Supposedly, it uses napalm as fuel, but AH being AH, decided to make asinine changes. Now it just farts hot fire at the enemy. It bounces off armor (even though napalm sticks and burns hot) that even a hive guard is safe against it unless you shoot below its body.

Now, it can't even shoot through fences and dead corpses. So if say there's a wall of dead warriors, any smaller bugs behind them, like a hunter or scavenger or sometimes even other warrior bugs, are completely safe from a flamethrower's stream of fire.

All the nerf complainers just don't get it.

We lost a weapon, but gained a excellent hairdryer. If only our divers actually had any.

the DEVs have a bad DEVOPS process, they can't tell who owns what process nor a backup of the previous iteration for at least PR purposes. They throw everything onto a live server we are the guinea pigs. Welcome.

yea that'd make sense of this whole Balancing fiasco.
i've been thrown into someone elses project before because they moved jobs, they did give me documentation but its still very disorienting.

I am not a big fan of Flammenwerfer across games.
But it was so well done in Helldivers 2, I actually picked it up from time to time.
Who in their right mind would change a weapon animation which worked great?

They didnt want their new warbond weapons to kill chargers and didnt want to balance each weapons individually so they gut everything fire and use realism as an excuse.

It still does. It just have that generic flame effects covering it up.

When the bugs are made of starship fuel I would expect a flamethrower to be very effective
