Advertised as a horde extraction shooter but is just a running away simulator now.
Game used to be fun. But don't worry, the devs will stamp out and eliminate any form of fun.

This game is literally the tale of the golden goose.

Devs do whatever they want despite massive backlash from the community who are sick and tired of everything being nerfed to ♥♥♥♥ and every gun being useless garbage to the point that you can't even engage the enemy at 8-9 diff because you literally do not have the means to deal with them from the massively overnerfed guns to the numerous debilitating stratagem modifiers.

And it's no surprise that the playercount dropping by over ~95% since launch while a similar game Deep Rock Galactic sits around 20% of their max playercount and is 4 years old now because they actually CARE about their players and listen to them to properly balance difficulty with fun.

Rest in Piss.

I knew this game will be dead in few months. Totally 0 content. I got my weapon and skills after 2h. After 8h i stop playing because i seen everything.

My most regretful game purchase ever. The trailers are holly misleading about what the game actually is.

I just logged in after a long break to play again, but then I realised I have to play for no rewards to make the 1000 credits to unlock to be able to play for rewards. Medals capped at 250 too. So I play and can't even make more medals because I can't spend them in the first place. Not gonna lie, I need at least a little bit of dopamine to play this :I

Diff 9/10 isn't for everyone.
Try a lower setting.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinions and fun is most certainly a subjective thing. As someone who played Helldive almost exclusively (I played on lower difficulties with friends that didn't want to play on higher difficulties sometimes) and now Super Helldive. It's most certainly not a "running away simulator" if you handle it right. I more or less play equipment roulette every time I play, and every weapon works on every difficulty. Naturally some weapons are better then others (Flame weapons not being great against Automatons for example. Mainly because they shoot back.) Winning fights comes down to how you engage enemies, and what you have to engage them with. People running away or otherwise refusing to commit to a fight has often led to many unnecessary deaths and a loss of time. Sometimes it is better to pull away from something and try another route of course I'm not saying every enemy in sight needs to be fought all the time with reckless abandon that's just foolish.

Anyway Tl:dr If you're using weapons properly, and have a decent balance throughout the team every weapon works. You can also win most fights if you approach them properly.

Seems like a skill issue.

Game is fun. It's more like early access, playing makes you hopeful for the future, but devastating once you realize how useless these devs are and no significant new content coming out.
I think it's similar tale to darktide. Premise is cool, initial gameplay is cool, but content is few. And after 2 years, there's very little improvement and players already realized that devs don't care.

What do you think "horde extraction shooter" means? There's a horde chasing you and you have to get away to extract. Just by calling it that, there is already an assumption that you have to, i don't know, EXTRACT which inherently means you have to get away.

Look at sample counts needed to upgrade your ship modules if you want to feel dispair instead of dopamine. :mhwhappy:

Enemies should only spawn from the factories and tunnels and when they are all blown up then no more enemies spawn. It might solve the issue of endless fights where you can't move or endless running because enemies are continuously spawning from thin air all around you. People would also have the satisfaction of clearing a section of map. Patrols would only spawn from bases and set out making their way to other bases or destroyed bases.

Maybe on higher difficulties in the future patrols could repair damaged or destroyed bases if they successfully reach their destination?

But no more random spawning of enemies from thin air and outside of the combat zone. I want to leave the land totally and without question 100% liberated if I can. Right now there isn't any point.

This change wouldn't affect bug breaches or bot drops. They would still spawn where called.
