So I can only recommend you try a lower difficulty.
Did you not read my post? I play on difficulty one, which at the moment is the lowest.
Cant a man have some opinions? Don't want awards or reactions here.
The game is harder than average and I would say it is. I am fine with harder games, but this game punishes even good choices you make. Twitch mechanic reaction type games. I have noticed this. It used to be that you could actually display good skills and not die as a result in games. This is impossible in this game. This games buffs and debuffs are specifically designed against players. It punishes you for attempting to take on objectives (just logging in really). Realism excuse is no excuse for bad game design, players are punished unfairly for just dropping in. You have a drop screen for goodness sake to avoid bad drop locations...nope you could drop onto a point of interest drawing in endless reinforcements burn through your strats and run at the beginning of the match. Such brilliant game design eh. Sometimes, you have to push through the hoard because the Strat jammer is there so you can't call in hellbombs. With other players, you cannot run and return to remove the enemies, running is more effective solo at least you don't have to fight, you can just run to the other side of the map and return with no reinforcements there.
Armors have bonuses but helmets don't it is so inconsistent and tells me a lot about the devs mindset. They are confused.
Nearly every planet has a sideffect. Something that disables the player to some degree, most planets have some type of inhibiting factors towards strategems, which the devs claim is "what you should be using to solve enemy issues". How the hell does that work? You design a game around cooldowns in a shooter? You are kidding me? What sense does that make?
I can understand 1 strat jammer but 2 or 3 is nuts. "Designed for team play and strats" my buttcheeks have more slices than that piece of cake, and meatgrinder always seems to get a piece from behind with a chop.
Because those people ignore 80% or more of the gameplay loop, throw strategems, push buttons and run away.
They don't interact with the enemies. They don't fire primaries.
They also tend to be the first ones to leave if they notice people actually shoot enemies and try to enjoy themselves.
Tell that to the enemies that bounce all your weaponry fire except for the small fries. Weapons are stupidly weak. Majority of weapons which I usually run Liberator because I actually like the feel of the gun wish the piercer was good, is horrid. I see lower level players rage quit often. When you lose new players into the game and rage, something is wrong, and you can tell them what they should do but it does not fix the problem here. I have had newer players just quit on hard or extreme difficulty even when I try to motivate them. Please stop thinking of yourself and think about others this is important for the longevity of the game itself. Selfishness is what kills broader game titles like this one.
If the majority of enemies require weakpoints to hit which roughly around 10-15 percent are able to make headshots effectively. This data taken from games like counterstrike and b1/b2/b3/b4 game titles. The majority of the playerbase is having issues. This is a design flaw that requires the player to deal with large amounts of enemies that require special tactics to deal with. Most weapons are light armor penetration. There are limited options other than Strats to deal with them. Clearly a problem.
You're taking this ♥♥♥♥ way to serious
On the contrary, I don't even take this thread seriously.
Chargers are rhinos with flak armor: nothing short of a Barrett is gonna touch it.
Even BroodCommanders are SilverBacks/Grizzly sized; spraying it with your favorite 9mm, and it will tear our arm off like a chickenbone.
On the bot-side: even a magdump on an engine block won't stop it, unless you focus fire on a specific spot.
1. 800h, you have to be impaired not to sleepwalk it. (with an good team)
2. A good team can even carry you, even if you're a newbie.
Uh, then why have a solo mode eh? The inability to see situations outside of one's self is a bad sign. Unable to understand others means there could be a problem with you not looking outside of your experience. We have to look at all avenues of why the decline is happening and not blaming people for something they never had a effect on.
The developers are responsible for changes. The problem makes newer players rage quit if you wish for the community to thrive...looking outside of yourself may be tough but required. We must do better.
The same reason gym-tracks exist: some people go for it.
But still you're here online.
