Stratagem ball bounce
If there's something thats frustrating me out of all the bugs, glitches and wonky physics (looking at you charger bodies yeeting people like the titan bodies did).

It's the stratagem ball bouncin away from every small surface.

You thinking you chucked an awesome OPS or airstrike that'll wipe out the biggest threat and then you see the line pop up 20 meters further because it bounced of some scavengers buttocks.

The sad part is that it's probably not a bug but a side effect of them putting invisible walls everywhere so you can't land on top of walls or rocks to "exploit" high ground. You know the thing that's advantageous in war so the devs don't want us to have it? :mhwhappy:

yeah that ♥♥♥♥ is one of the biggest reasons to keep me away from this game after I had quit.

The highground wasn't even that advantageous. Bugs crawl through the terrain to get at you and the Automatons just blast you off it with rockets.

I've posted about this exact thing a good while ago, and probably someone has posted about it even longer ago.
Hopefully it will get fixed/changed whatever they decide to call it but yes stratagem bounce needs to end, I haven't seen the devs mention it anywhere though so the chances of it getting some love are sadly...quite thin.

You have to say "git gud" or "skill issue" or "just lower the difficulty"....

Why would I want my stratagem to bounce?

If I chuck it in front of my feet, that means I want whatever I'm dropping to hit in front of my feet.

That means I don't want to watch for half an hour where the magic 8-ball decides to finally land.

There are some surfaces they don't want the Pokéballs to stick.

I want the strat balls I throw to be sticky. I'm tired of tossing them at a group of enemies like 30m away but tossing it *too* good and watching it bounce off the first guy and go flying off somewhere else totally missing. Or when I throw it at a bot Fab and it hits the side and bounces off 10m elsewhere missing the fab I was trying to destroy

It's part of the devs "vision" it's a feature, can't have you controlling where you put things now can we? No no no...that would be crazy.

Ehm bugs takes a while to reach high or very high ground , if its a planet where are not hunters or little jumpers the rest never gonna catch u , i test it a lot landing in mountains with the hellpod .
But balls always gonna bouce there like if the floor is lava lol

True, but they will burrow in the ground at some point to get at you + they get to attack you while they exit the burrow in the same animation.
