The Real Way to Fix Ultimatum
Make the explosion actually deal damage. 3500 from the projectile and only 1000 damage from the explosion is the dumbest thing ever.

Same for the OPS.

Before any of that happens I'd like to see demo force to be reduced to 40.
Otherwise agreed for the OPS, but not for Ulti.
Secondaries and Stratagems should be miles apart in strength.

Why would I ever run that clunky piece of garbage then? The 50 demo force is the only real reason to use it.

You can still oneshot every heavy in the game with it, and hellbomb-tier objectives should require a hellbomb and not whatever this crap is.

Yeah, but nothing Ultimatum can kill is a Hellbomb-tier objective. Everybody throws a 500kg at them and calls it a day anyway.

Being able to one-shot heavies if you actually land a direct hit with this abysmally clunky thing is cute, but does that really make it worth using in a world where Senator, GP and Loyalist exist? I hardly ever use it on heavies and simply bring it for objectives.

It is when you don't need those things. It also does get easier to use with practice.

There is a massive difference between a reloadable secondary and a red stratagem on a hard cooldown.
Having AP8 AT weaponry on the Ulti. is already a massive ask for a secondary slot, as it's basically a pseudo-stratagem that outshines its direct competitor (OPS) in multiple different ways that needs a stratagem slot compared to a pocket nuke.

Sounds like you should be taking up your complaints to Arrowhead instead of the people here as you just don't like the entire concept of the weapon

AH designed the weapon and then asked $10 bucks for it

No, the concept of the weapon is fine, you can have AT on a secondary, it just overperforms for the slot its located in.
