Can we get new DSS Tactical Action that actaully counters Illuminates?
The Eagle storm not having a practical effect because "The Illuminate are just launching raids/incursions so its technically not a defence!" is frankly dumb game design. This tactical action logically should have worked but it didnt because AH decided to play lawyer instead of having logical game design here.

Fine whatever, now can the descriptions first be updated to reflect this reality, and second can we now actaully have a DSS tactical action that counters the Illuminate? Like having "Sentry Storm" or "Gas Storm" or "Orbital Laser Storm" or "ETC STORM" that reduces enemy effectiveness (Invasion Level or Enemy Resistance Rate) REGARDLESS OF FACTION?

Cause right now the Illuminates are OP and Super Earth High Command is canonically not coming up with any solutions while canonically each Helldiver kills MULTIPLE "Highly Valued Members of Illuminate Society" for every Helldiver that dies...

Like seriously bro? We have killed tens if not hundreds of millions of overseers at this point that has to logically cause attrition cause with all the lore we have been provided these are not Expendable or Cheap Cost effective units by any means.

AH have High Command actually do their jobs and come up with a plan, give us more EFFECTIVE DSS tactical actions, and actually have the CANONICAL attrition of the Illuminate Overseers start to be reflected IN GAME...

Coding oversight most likely.

It's not like the Eagles don't show up. They do and they still perform as intended. It's simply the secondary passive effect not working properly because someone didn't code right when they made the illuminate.

This just proves how lazy AH really are: they had so much damn time to adjust the DSS so it would actually do something against the Illuminate attacks, at least making Eagle Storm to work on them, but nope, they did nothing at all.
It's still just a giant 3D model outside of our ships that has no impact on defense campaigns against the squids, what a shame.
Nope, Sorry! We cant. WIth the CCO on Sabbatical, All fun going forward will not be had. Any useful or fun patches will be removed from the game and it will revert to how it was 4 months after launch.

So Eagle Storm HALF works on the Illuminate maps. You still get your Eagles streaking down and gunrunning all over the place.

And again, how much time they had to properly implement Eagle storm applying it's defense timer pause effect on Illuminate attacked planets? Devs most likely know about this coding oversight but they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about actually fixing this bug lol.

Not being critical of you rn I am literally just curious is there a source for this? Like those patchnotes of "Critical Issues" or whatever.

Because if this is the case then assuming the MO was not scripted then we literally lost BECAUSE OF A BUG... That would be incredibly dumb...
