Like how exactly do I in Steam "invite" someone from the PlayStation Network to join me in a game? Unless I have some sort of PSN Account logged in. Otherwise, how I would even find or be able to invite anyone playing PS5 on PSN to join me as a PC/Steam player?
And how does someone playing the PS5 version on PSN invite a Steam PC player to join his game? How would they even SEE us Steam players on a list somewhere?
If Arrowhead still made any effort to answer questions or communicate with us players at all pre-release, then this would I think be a big question many of us would like answered. But the newly mega conglomerate Arrowhead no longer seems to answer questions or want to hear from us. So I guess we'll all bumble along next month and find out then. :p
I keep hoping if I make little forum insults to Arrowhead -- formerly my favorite and most player-communicative developer of all time -- some community rep will come out of the woodwork to scold me, and we'll at least know they care. So far, not.
You need an account to play Apex, Overwatch 2, etc... this isn't new. Most online service games require an account.
In this case it's published by a Sony-owned studio so of course it's going to be a PSN one.
