MG rockets - termanids
You're welcome.
The Patriot does have its niche however, as the Minigun's useful for sweeping up lesser bugs and bots while the missile rack's effectively a rapid-fire EAT with half the damage.
It really depends on what you want out of your mech. If you're looking for an explosive joyride with good destructive potential, pick the Emancipator. If you want a tool for every situation and the option to nullify bot drops, go for the Patriot.
Just keep in mind that both mechs are mutually exclusive and have both a long cooldown and limited uses. My best advice is to deploy your mech immediately alongside your support strats for an early-mission boost in firepower, saving the last use for the main objective or a heavy outpost to make the most out of that stratagem.
Drop one at mission start, rock it for a solid few minutes and clear several nests on a bug planet. By then it's likely out of ammo and thus roll out with standard fire till the next, and either wait till extract or call it in when ready to round out the mission.
But if you just want to goof around get whatever man. The mech auto cannon is vastly worse than the player autocannon due to the loss of durable damage. The mech minigun is just an MG43 with 2000 rounds that you cannot reload, the MG43 is a much better use of a stratagem slot and ya'll need to stop sleeping on it.
