liberator assault rifles
the new liberator needs a bigger mag and the old needs more damage it stil is not enough to make it really good for helldive i would say give the new one a 60 round mag and give the old one 80 projectile damage

you clearly haven't tried it on helldive difficulty then you would know alot of other weapons are much better for that

that's the problem with this game. the weapons they have work great for people playing on lower difficulties. But on higher difficulties (7+) try playing with the liberator or any other assault rifle without relying on a support weapon. I can play using the scythe as long as I have an auto cannon as a support weapon. But that doesn't mean the scythe is great. The same goes for the assault rifles in this game. They are perfectly fine up to challenging, ok up to hard, and fall horribly short after that.

Each assault rifle magazine has the capability to deal with four or five light armor enemies, and it doesn't do it that quickly either. It also doesn't have a bunch of extra magazines or an significantly faster reload to make up for these issues. adding a tiny bit of durable damage to them doesn't go anywhere near far enough to fix the problems they have. Every assault rifle needs about a 25% buff to either damage, magazine capacity, or reload+ spare magazines. The tenderizer feels great right now, except for the fact that they had to go nerf the magazine size in a gun that already suffers from having too small a magazine. 95 damage +45 rounds should be what the regular liberator does.

ok, but isn't +7 difficulty just... Trolling gamers?

Honestly I'm just tired of the same functional guns. Give me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ plasma cutter that does much more damage to limbs. Then I can kill terminids faster. This game needs more inspiration. It feels like it wants some stuff like other games like Dead Space with dismemberment, but then turns right when all the guns are just basic projectile weapons. And the energy weapons don't dismember at all. The enemy just crumples up and dies in the most boring way possible.

for a team of experienced players no even helldive is easy with a good team depending on the planet hellmire as an example is a good amount harder seems like the spawn rate of chargers and titans is alot higher but stil ain't that bad with a team that knows how to play

The new Liberator Carbine is fine. Maybe needs some more spare mags.
The default Liberator is likely bad by design since it's the starter weapon.

D9 solo.

Aside from the Tenderizor all of the other ARs jump way too much to be useful, it's almost like we're not special ops like we're supposed to believe. That new carbine is a perfect example of this, within 3 rounds your a mile up, it's like a BAR on fast, it's pathetic, again making SMGs the superior pick just as before the patch.

In my opinion, Liberators need abit of faster reloads. And the reload animation replaced so that there is no hand swapping when chambering the first round, instead use something like with the AK platform's one method of under hand charging, this would be nice with a abit faster reload.
Othervise Liberators are rather ok set of weapons.

Or use that new animation that is on Liberator Carbine, overhand charging.

and you use the standard liberator for that im calling bs if yes there is not enough ammo for it and the ttk is way to slow the ttk for the new carbine is good but not enough ammo reserve and to small a mag size !
