Giant Purple Question Mark?

Like the title says I found a giant purple question mark floating in the middle of a field has anyone else seen this or know what it means?

I saw 2 of them kind of close to each other when doing last mission. I went over to check out 1 of them, but saw nothing at all anywhere close to it. So, I've no clue what they are, but I'm curious.

If I had to GUESS, it's probably a placeholder texture from a code error or something.

It is an error of textures that have not loaded correctly. I've seen it many times. It happens even on PS5.

Purple question marks are typically what happens when there's a model or texture missing, the game can't render it since the files are missing so the ? is shown, supposedly its something to do with patrol spawns as people have seen patrols spawning near them.

According to this, when you find the purple question mark you get infinite stratagems. I never got to check if that is true.

If you see purple question leave the game, chances of crashing and wasting your time is very high.

Everything other posters have mentioned is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's 'The Riddler'. When will we get Batman cowl (cape included) to effectively fight against this crisis?

yeh... Batman armour coming soon

A texture or file got corrupted or didn't load, so the game engine renders it as a ?. Or you can go with the alternate theory being.... batman.

Lots of games have things like this. It's a placeholder when an error occurs, or a texture fails to load. Go look at Gmod, they used to have a giant glowing "ERROR" and the classic bright pink and black checkerboard texture when something was missing.

Mock me all you want but I'm old enough to remember when "The Batman" fought "The Riddler" on Earth. If Super "The Riddler" is roaming free than Liberty bless the Helldivers. I fear that only the Super "The Batman" can stop him!
