I'm wondering something. Are the terminids just animals acting purely on instinct trying to spread and multiply..

Or is there some kind of terminids super hive mind pulling the string behind the scene?

i´m not an expert on this but i think the terminids got somewhat militaristic after they got turned into fuel for 100 years , escaped into the wilds and thought "time to multiply"
another point in that direction was the super colony that popped up on one of the barrier planets (aka meridia) and the loonies of the R&D invent termicide 2.0 , what can go wrong , right ?
