Eruptor Shrapnel still not back :(

The single-target damage wasn't why we used the weapon, it was the joy of taking out a small group of enemies with a well-placed shot, due to the shrapnel.

The devs completely missed why we used the weapon, despite us complaining about it for over a month. The devs said they would REVERT the weapon nerf, but all they did was slap another bandage on it.

to any dev that sees this i have an idea treat shrapnel like you did the hulk flamethrower limit how many times it can hit. say it some how lands the full 15 bits of shrapnel on a single target only 4-5 count the rest are ignored problem solved. as for friendly/self fire limit shrapnel range to 4-5m if someone is closer then that there a moron and deserve it.

They discovered the shrapnel could deal up to 9000 damage sometimes so they're keeping it removed for now

This is why you don't balance your game based on spreadsheets with no regard on practical application. You make boneheaded decisions like removing the Eruptors shrapnel because "numbers."

Numbers dont lie though. The damage dealt by that thing was too much. Instead they buffed its damage 150 (and did before this patch as well)... yet people still complain.

Okay... well read this Mr. smartie pants. Did I mention what it was used for? No. Theres a slew of other weapons to choose from. Pick a shotgun if you like to hit multiple targets. Maybe these illiterate devs dont want a 1 gun end all be all. Let me guess, you're gonna post another topic about the smg nerf?

I didn't even say anything about SMGs? You're literally continuing to make up words that don't exist just to get angry at. That is not healthy, or normal.

Also, we shouldn't be FORCED to use one weapon just because it's the best one. Saying "just use a shotgun" doesn't change the fact that the original Eruptor nerf was unneeded. You're deflecting the issue.

It was coming.... I could feel it. Lol what made up words did I use sir? I assure you the only angry one here is you. Look at this amazing patch and all these buffs yet you choose to only see the negative.

Nerf was needed - thats just my opinion though. You literally say "we shouldn't be forced to use one weapon" when the nerf caused the opposite affect. People had to try other weapons because their favorite wasn't the "best" anymore.

For me, the joy of the Eruptor was simply being able to one shot Brood Commanders and Devastators. As long as it does that, I could care less for the shrapnel frankly. I just want to assassinate medium targets with it.

shrapnel was the reason it got removed in the first place, it was broken lmao, there was literally no reason to use anything but the eruptor because of that.
