Unless I'm missing something.
reading ability = ZERO , accuracy stances were BUFFED not nerfed
In fact basically NO overzealous NERFS at all and going the route everyone was clamoring for, buff things that are underperforming and leave others things alone or just slightly adjust them where it is really necessary
This patch is a 100% W , you dont know what youre talking about.
I think they just adopted the same mind set for Helldivers 2.
If they're happy with 10-20k players instead of 450k so be it, but it's a massive hit in potential super credits sales.
I main sickle, so the increased in fodder bots is harder for me deal with due to the ammo nerf it received that wasn't reverted.
They just seem to do things so backwards at Arrowhead. Increase number of fodder bots, but don't give you more ammo clips to deal with them. That's a fail.
But overall I think the patch is a win, love the black background on the fonts.
You are missing something, specifically the change to our accuracy in third person and FPS.
So no, I disagree, It's not a success, it's barely a change. It's actually a nerf to our core accuracy mechanic. At this point you have no choice but to FPS down scope for better accuracy but it's a step down from where it was. And third person is a huge step down in accuracy so even though buffing weapon damage looks and sounds good, it's useless if the shots don't connect.
Also, they still haven't fixed the issue where most guns are shooting under the cross hair so even the scope is still inaccurate. Go play the game, nothing changed, small bump in damage is not enough to have a significant impact on the amount of nerfs that Alexus has dished out since release.
I literally said I had hope it would change, that's the answer to the why I'm here. Reading comprehension is on par with your understanding of reading patch notes and it's effect on the game. Go head and play, let me know how drastic the change is.
I'll be right here, just waiting with a tall glass of "I told you so".
Took way too long to get a patch like this..
People seem to be satisfied with breadcrumbs after being starved LMAO. Yall who wana jump and justify/defend and call this patch a W are really just simping at this point
Why'd it take over a month to drop a patch like this? Why not revert some of the incredibly unpopular changes sooner?
Why isn't the warbond out WITH the patch? Why are you dropping it past a specific time? For people to get off work? Then why drop the patch on a thursday?
"Spearhead is sort of fixed but not really, but here you go"
I thought patches were taking longer for quality? How come you're dropping a half fixed weapon on us still? Why not just leave it for a month again like you guys have been?
the rocket strata "listen we KNOW it SOUNDS like a nerf, but its a buff really! Just go look at this other post where we have to explain ourselves in detail" nah bro, you guys lost all faith/goodwill a while back
Clown devs clown studio
There has been no means, since HD1 for primary weapons to penetrate heavy armor. That's just how the game has always been. If you are having difficulty using the gems or support weapons, that on you.
The patch is an overall success as I've said. I was genuinely shocked that the incendiary breaker was left untouched. Usually they butcher popular weapons with nerfs so much so that they become unplayable.
We got a few "nerfs" so to say but those are called adjustments/rebalances because they were included alongside with buffs. I didn't see a single pure nerf on the list, which made me happy.
This patch brought back hope.
Not how it works though is it.
People don't want to play lower difficulty because it makes the grind loads longer.
Just breezed through my usual SUICIDAL game that can be handled with any semi competent or gifted newb with EASE , felt super fluid, accuracy no issue at all felt even better than ever. I have 400 hours in the game.. rank 115 ... you are trolling,.
