Art can be tasteful... that fat furry art... was not tasteful, it was an EYESORE and everybody who saw it or looked at the monstrosity of that "art" is now gouging their eyes out and cleaning their sockets with bleach.
The art itself wasnt offensive. what I saw wasnt to me at least.
The response to the negative feedback it received however showed a huge abuse of power by a mod that should have been fired long ago, after accussing someone of sexual assualt with 0 proof who was instead demoted to keep doing damage to this product.
People didnt like your furry art? Move on mod...
Instead, they decided to double down and ban and threaten anyone who didnt give it praise talking about "timeouts" as if everyone that didnt love & support it was in the wrong.
Why do companies employ people like this? All they do is hurt your player base with their identity politics and chase off people that would otherwise buy and play your product and suggest and encourage their friends to do the same.
Changed my positive review to a neg after this and moved on myself.
Well, you got the first part right at least. The art section has rules against a lot of things, like being rude, posting NSFW art, and giving unsolicited criticism. Having a helldiver with a furry head is not one of them.
There's literally stick figure scribble art on that art channel. It's not exactly trying to be a premier gallery.
If i have to explain to you that a helldivers forum isn't the right "time and place"....than you're the problem not me or anyone else that responded with an emoji and made people run for their safe spaces.
That sort of thing has no place on the Helldivers 2 Discord if the mods don't agree with it, and that seems to be the case.
Regardless of whether it was normal art or something more specific,
Post where people like it and not on a discord about a game.
And the people who put a puke emoji on these pictures, why are you so stupid and don't even pay attention to it, just ignore it.
I understand the mods, they're pissed off by you because you all act like little children there.
Then make your own discord and don't be annoying.
Luckily I'm not part of this clown show.
And what was wrong with my statement?
If they say dont do it then i should respect that
If I have to explain to you that a private discord can have whatever rules are allowed by Discord's ToS and refusing to abide by them will get you kicked, you've probably already been kicked from the discord.
Western culture truly has hit rock bottom. Intolerance to the opinions of others, absolutely zero shame, obsessed with self, complete absence of critical thinking skills, and outright indecent.
Obviously that doesn't apply to everyone, but there's a noticeable trend in people who live like that.
You just said it wasn't pornographic.
What degeneracy? Anthromorphised animals? So Disney's Robin Hood is degeneracy?
Well, i don't. So why don't you explain it to me.
If that was true then something like Mouseguard shouldn't exist. It's a bi-monthly series that has been running since 2006 and is entirely non pornographic.
Also The Tale of Despereaux didn't end up with a 2nd or 3rd installment that was porn.
So how do you figure it "always" heads in that direction?
Why should they keep it to rule 34 if it wasn't porn? Rule 34 is for porn. And most importantly the Rule 34, 35 and 36 exist independently of author/artist intent.
