Saving the Children is the Rational Choice

Helldivers are tasked with defending democracy, which is funded by the taxpayers. The taxpayers want to feel protected and secure in their investments and lives. If we can't save the weakest of the weak (sick children), then we lose public trust, support for Helldivers dwindles, and then we have to try to regain people's generosity (remember how they provided napalm to fight in Meridia a few weeks ago?)

Recall the event many generations ago when Super Earth wasn't yet Super... That police department in Uvalde that failed to act and save children when they could have. That department's reputation was tarnished forever.

So, while anti-tank mines MIGHT be useful (no one uses mines, seriously.) It is far more important to show the people of Super Earth that Helldivers will always be the shield that protects the weak.

Therefore, saving the children is not only the moral choice, but also the logical one.

We already have a huge pile of scrap ready - we had something about 80% of bots killed for them. They just need more time.
