Higher ergonomics - less weapon drag.
Or like, maybe waving a uh, *HEAVY* machine gun. You know, because its a massive gun.

I think it's fair to say that the guy was just being comical in his description of it. Not everyone needs to be pedantic, some of us like to try be humerously colourful. Someone can't see comedy so results to insults. Seems to be a modern take, I suppose. So I stand corrected!
But to answer OP. What others have said: Ergonomics just increases the time from where your gun is to where you're aiming. Wearing something like Peak Physique armours will also improve this for all your weapons too.
According to Yahoo, "This number represents how unwieldy the gun is and governs things like how long it takes to aim down the sights." In short, how well the gun goes from one side to the other.
