Helldivers 2 download and patch optimisation issue

1. Faced severe download issues on steam when I downloaded Helldivers 2 last week. (Just to make sure I tried queueing a couple of other games as big as 40gb and they installed within minutes). My friend who bought the game with me had no issues.

2. Today's update of 1.7gb is taking around 45+ minutes (download is complete), idk why the patchwork is so slow even with the drive running at insanely high write speeds. Warthunder's Hornet's Sting update of 8GB was seamless (4 minutes) so it can't be my pc (My specs have the highest components).

3. Did some research online on Reddit and saw a few posts about this. Incredibly slow patching, like it goes to say 12 days or more to complete. INSANE. No other game I play has this problem and I play a ton of games which regularly gets updates.

Its sad to say this problem still exists after 1 year.

Same for me. Also last patch. It is quicker for me to uninstall and install again...
