Well, we'll see. I personally think dropship buff is a good move.
Instead of nerfing RR, this would make players choose between Spear and RR. Spear would reliably(well, not always) 1-shot dropship as its damage is 4000.
Now people who thought Automatons are easy would think twice...
It also made completing and fighting under a SEAF Sam battery much less useful since you could just RR the drop-ships.
Bringing down drop-ships should take a concerted team effort and we shouldn't be able to completely deny a landing. The game has strayed away from requiring any real team-work even in Super Hell dives and it sucks. it's what made the predator strain so good, you mostly had to stick together.
Yeah, now... we have 2 options.
1) Stick together and fight all those dropped automaton forces
2) Completely ignore them
And oh boy, I can't imagine how hard the eradication mission will be...
I think the illuminate warp ships are a worse change, that shield will prevent any one shots on their warp ships.
This is such a wild overreaction.
This is why we can't have nice things. There's like 20 positive changes to an array of weapons but the only thing people want to post about is "I can't shoot a dropship from any angle now and have to actually aim, how dare"
Hilarious.
*Edit* - also, in other news, makes the spear more viable since it should be able to single shot dropships still.
A recoiless rifle and a little bit of teamwork was just a way of cancelling any bot drop to ever even happen.
Now RR need to aim on dropship's engine to kill it, which is not worth it because passengers would survive the crash and use dropship debris as cover.
Illuminate warp ships are now almost impossible to shoot down by single RR user unless you're getting team-reload.
Dropship debris have weird hitboxes you know.
The patch has been out for 5 seconds and you're telling me that you immediately posting :
isn't an emotional response?
Be for real, seriously.
