Just killed soloing for most players
Doing level 5 had half a dozen of those big creatures with eyes and arms, constantly chasing me and guarding points all i did was run run around as you cant kill them. Thats not fun its annoying as hell and i don't play to be annoyed. Game will get a spike then back to low numbers after people realise its annoying hard not fun hard. if they don't want me as a player fine... i'll take my money elsewhere.

There are plenty enough of ways to kill them as a solo player.

Solo spawnrates for squids actually seem busted
- Ran a couple of missions solo at T3 to chill - was chased around by like 3 fleshmobs at once, constant patrols, etc
- Ran a couple of missions with a friend on the same T3, stuck together because teamwork - we actually met WAY LESS enemies, less patrols and never more than 1-2 fleshmobs at once
- My friend ran a couple of missions at T3 solo as an experiement - same experience as mine, constant patrols and tons of enemies incl. fleshmobs
Conclusion: probably a bug

Its a COOP game........... its like crying that Payday 2 is "harder" as a solo

I was mad at first but I quickly adapted, aceing Super Helldives.
If curious how, I went with eruptor, new energy pistol, choice of grenade. Strategems being orbital laser, wasp launcher, machine gun sentry, and grenedier battlement. Usually with the booster that adds a gun to the supply drop.

I mean I will play squids solo, on 7 and I’m fine. I do think the min difficulty for fleshmobs should be raised from diff1 but honestly if you are struggling on 5, lower to 4 until you learn the new enemies and get better and adjust.

Or if you don’t like fleshmobs… don’t play squids..? You act like solo vs bots or bugs have changed at all in these updates.

Had a friend doing trivial diff she was fixing her keybinds. What amazed me was there were Fleshmobs and Stingrays, was not expecting that kind of hardware on trivial.

Is that normal? Cause for bugs and bots it most certainly not.

Yeah fleshmobs start on 1 and interlopers start on 2. And more interlopers spawn on 2 than even 10 in my experience. It’s actually kinda fun to go do if you wanna mess with them.

It’s probably a bug though happening because they kinda added fleshmobs and interlopers as the great host enemies. The squid version of predator strain.
