The G-142 Pyrotech is better than you might think
Not gonna lie, I was expecing much less from this thing thanks to how people talk about it, but truth is. it's effective in it's own way.

This thing is basically a upgrade to the Frag grenade

it has SIX uses, SIX, and uniquely restores THREE per supply, meaning this thing is a beast at taking out bug holes & fabricators.

Believe it or not, this thing spews thermite, and eventually explodes in a pool of incendiary, and thanks to thermite + the new Incediary buff, it has the ability to kill Hulks and even Factory striders. Though the latter takes about 10~ to do so and is not very practical.

When it comes to killing Hulks, it can take as low as a Single nade to kill, or up to about 3. this depends on your cooking/aim skills. aswell as if the hulk stands still.
I could mostly consistantly kill these hulks by throwing 2 at their feet.

Overall

Pro's :
  • Extremely efficient economy, making it great at closing Bug holes and Fabricators.
  • Mostly the same use-case as the Frag grenade but with a lower fuse but much higher damage to medium targets
  • Can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill hulks in a pinch what the ♥♥♥♥.
Cons
  • Terrible dedicated heavy killer, better as an assist tool or if you're caught without your chosen anti-tank weapon.
  • Less radius, better for chokes or freshly grouped enemies compared to the frag

Thanks for this. I'm considering taking it vs my fire impact grenade. This info is useful. We'll see if it stacks up.

6 uses and 3 per resupply ? That's the selling point to me as I'm usually using frag to destroy spawner (and also get rid of some melee friends).
