However, until/if they decide to do so, just make sure the person that pushed the button dies for it either immediately with a shot to the face or by following them around until it blows.
If they do it 10 times, the map is basically over since it costs at least two respawns every time they do it.
If they get angry because you were close to them, just remind them that they were the ones who activated the bomb, not you.
The Hellbomb backpack is a new strat after all. So people need to learn that it's not a good idea to touch it. Just like we learnt that "standing next to a Hellbomb and hitting it to see if it would do anything" was a bad idea.
got my first 500+ kills now and exactly 1 time did someone activate my bomb, and that was at extract when there was nothing much to do. and then too, just either blow the guy up with it or run for 5 seconds, drop it, run 5 seconds back. i doubt it was wasted much if you didn't already have somewhere to sprint towards if someone had a chance to activate it on you.
probably overreacting there.
This is a democracy. Sometimes other people vote in ways you don't want, like setting off your hellbomb.
There's a perfectly good reason to wear it, and it is to reduce the annoyance of its cooldown when needing it. I had instances where I'm fighting to take enemy bases from afar with the cannon turret, and some geniuses on the team thought, "Hey, let me press the button."
It is not an overreaction , but a real question that a smart person would ask themselves: what purpose does it serve for someone else to activate it? In that case, would you be okay if I took some of your supplies from your supply backpack ?
You're probably that 1 out of 100 that activates the bomb to be a butt.
What you are doing is basically wasting my hell bomb on nothing and making me wait 4-3 minutes for me to recall it and got us both killed because guess what, I killed you for being a wise guy.
I do, and not only that, whenever anyone gets close to me , they receive a warning slap or shot
Instead youre whining here about logic in a game where a good percentage of people act like idiots.
You want people to stop touching the pack? Set it off on them. Run at them. Blow them up. Yeah sure it sucks you lost your spawn obliterator but the price of payback has and never will be too high if someone wants to screw around.
Ive no reason to touch your pack because I know how much of an anal rupture it tends to cause to people who whine too much and if I wanted to hear a dog bitch about it I'd have gotten a dog to begin with.
What are you going on about?
It's smarter to call the thing in early and have it already on your back when you do need it instead of calling it down the exact moment that you do. Having the thing already called down means that the timer is resetting for your next bomb allowing you to call in a new one after you use the current one. It also lets you resolve situations that might come up that needing resolving right away instead of waiting to put in the secret konami code and waiting the 10 seconds for it to come down from the sky
Having it ready in advance lets you use it right when you need to but most importantly to get a new one right after
