Seeker Grenade is kind of underwhelming
I was really looking forward to this item but from my early testing it's very underwhelming.

It has basically the same stats as an impact grenade but the major downside is that you can't even use it to close bug holes or destroy fabricators because it can't properly target them.

It takes two of them to take down a single devastator or berserker due to the low damage, so there's no reason to actually take this along because taking out just 2 berserkers and sacrificing your ability to close bug holes or blow up fabricators is just not worth the price.

They should really allow the seeker to just fly into the fabricator vents and bug holes and blow them up so that these are ideal base clearer weapons at the cost of not being very powerful at clearing chaff or other enemies.

I really want to love the concept of the little flying drones and it would be an awesome edition to my drone master outfit / loadout but I just can't justify taking them with my over something like thermites.

It needs either more utlity in clearing fabs / holes or more power and range to justify its use.

I really like the idea/concept of them and having them float around is kinda cool but yes the damage is super low on these things to not be worth the trade off. I've seen people even try to ping targets and the grenades don't care about it and just attack whomever they want.

You also give up your ability to bomb bug holes and bot fabricators so you give up a lot for this gimmick. It really needs double the damage that it has now but keep the pen the same. Having it at heavy pen would be too strong as people would take down hulks and stuff with it, so keep it at medium pen to be that hunter seeker drone

So I'd say like 800 damage, medium pen and then fix it's targeting to actually lock onto what you ping. In compensation for giving up your ability to destroy bug holes and bot fabricators I'd increase the carrying capacity to 5 or 6

I'd prefer they were actually able to destroy bug holes and fabricators. The concept of a flying drone targeting these objects specifically makes the most sense in my mind. The drones not super high damage but it would make sense they auto home in on the vents and just fly into the fabricator base and explode 😂

Ideally they should actually prioritize fabricators and bug holes, this way you can just throw your little grenades into the enemy base and watch them fly into the vents and bug holes making easy work out of them. Sure you have no good ability to deal with chaff or anything but your life in taking out bases is a looot more easy and it fits the whole 'seeker drone' concept imho the best.
