CPU at its limit since new update
Anyone else experiencing their CPU being at the limit during the squid missions?
I have a Ryzen 7 9800x3d and he is at a constant 95%.

All this new content when the game really needs an update on performance.I mean I have no game that since I got the CPU maxed it out

The devs think content is more important than optimization and bug fixes, their loss because I'm not playing anymore with how buggy the latest patch is. Also multicore grunt is good for Helldivers because it will use as many cores and threads as it can get (along with nProtect).
Frame rate took a hit this patch

I was about to ask about this, ok so it was the patch all along, just great like if the overall performance of the game before was great...

Well that's a powefull CPU, seen it works at 95% there must be something strange in the game for sure. If i can be honest, i never try to look how much of my CPU get used, i will check in for sure on the next playtime

i saw a video fo a 4090 9800x3d combo on youtube and the cpu was at a constant 80-90% leaving the gpu with 60-70%. I know that these kind of horde shooters tend to be cpu intensive but maxing out a new 9800x3d is something else and there should be a bit of performance tbh

it sure did. Only thing to solve it temporarly is going to medium render distance

now we get the city maps on the bots planets, see the fps take a huge it after that too
The game was okay on the performance before the massive update was released and now performance is not looking good. Earlier joined with my friend and fps taking a huge dip my processor may be outdated for this game but on most games no issues at 1440p high setting, not sure whats with the performance on this game.

R7 5700X, RX 7800XT, 64GB DDR4 3200mhz game is installed on m.2 tried OC on my processor from base clock 3.4 to 4.4ghz barely did any improvement.

Yes, my ryzen 7600 has been at constant 100% usage during squid missions. Arrowhead needs to actually get their ♥♥♥♥ together and at least try to optimise their game.
My i9-14700k has been within 20-40%.

Maybe the game has a problem with Ryzen processors all of the sudden.

My 13600K is 90% utilized on squid planets, I never saw a game that uses all 14 cores and 20 threads before.

Definitely not just Ryzen.

Finding my average fps lower the longer the mission goes on for bugs, for bots and squids I barely see any difference but this update really made the CPU work harder for some odd reason.
I've locked up once or twice, and my sound goes downhill with Illuminate planets.
