Opinion on the FRV?
I barely ever see it being used, I bring it at almost every mission (except eradication)

It makes those long distance objectives a breeze, I love it!

I never take it, just because it takes up one of the 4 rare stratagem slots. But if somebody else brings it: i get in. Just to see what happens and because its fun to take a taxi without knowing where you will be taken or what will happen

I'd like it a lot more if it wasn't so front heavy. Feels like it flips too easily.
fun with friends but with randoms it's inconsistent
sometimes , your driver is sebastien loeb and your gunner kills everything
sometimes an asian women is behind the wheel and a passenger tries to ping on the map with a recoiless equiped
could use a proper 4wd and a lower gravity center
driver should be able to get it's head out from his seat and shoot ,disabling driving while he does instead of the cheezy seat switching
spare tires maybe ?
also some modules concerning mechs and vehicles would be nice
and of course different options for the mounted gun
IMO worth it to bypass all that walking between POIs. I always get it as 4th stratagem, but it needs

1. Way faster CD.
2. Ability to flip it over if it gets stuck. Maybe melee like in battlefield
3. Fix the many fking bugs it has like opening chat making you fire your primary while driving
4. Better suspension because most of the maps have annoying suicide rocks

I bring it on almost every bug mission (except swamp/forest biomes) and it's fun driving away from heavies and running over chaff enemies. I bring it on against squids regardless of map type. Just no against bots because of how fast they can blow up my vehicle/tires.

I don't see the value of giving up one of my stratagem slots for it as it does nothing but get you from point A to B quicker. That's not a huge concern to me as it doesn't fit my playstyle as it's too loud and gets too much attention

Opinion: Tried it once.
It needs work. A lot of work.
I only use it on about 7 and below, or up to 10 on illuminate. But it's fun to use, makes getting from point to point a lot more fun, nice mobile weapons platform. If I run it solo, I enjoy using artillery stratagems alongside it. Drive up to a zone, throw 2-3 red stratagems, and drive away.

I used to have issues driving it, but I found sticking to 1st gear is best practice, switching to 2nd only when there's long flat spaces. Also doing a full 180 spin to pick up an ally feels badass

it gives no protection and only little extra speed if you try careful enough not to flip it.
if not crewed it's nearly entirely useless and nothing but a nice, big target.
you're better off just dismounted, with everyone being able to freely move and to take cover and use their whole arsenal.

the thing just makes very little sense most of the time. this is a horde shooter with enemies coming all directions and just terrible terrain for a vehicle that doesn't like to take it at any significant speed. there's no long travel time like on an arma map.
if you're in a hurry, get a jetpack.

Oh yeah! I forgot my biggest complaint about it! You can't bind any of the keys for the vehicle which makes it impossible for me to use the FRV because I'm left handed and I don't use WASD nor are any of my fingers near those keys

It's literally unplayable for me

I love it so much that I got super comfortable using it and playing Uber for my team is super satisfactory.

For those saying it's "A waste of a stratagem slot" I really don't mind since I'm one of those weirdos that barely ever uses offensife stratagems

That is a major accesibility issue, unfortunate

1.Disagree, I can usually keep it rolling and by the time it's destroyed I can deploy a new one

2. YES, PLEASE

3. Yea, I'm sure tha'll be ironed out in a random patch

4.It is a bit bouncy, I'd prefer it if it was a proper 4x4

Yes, i find the controls a bit hard but i have seen people driving it like gods. Reminds me of the old half life 1 mod desert combat... or what was it called, in the early 2000. Flying a heli there was a pain but if you learned the controls you were the backbone of any team
