Has this game been crashing like mad for anyone else?

Ive tried verifying files, updating drivers, nothing, it just seems to like crashing at the beginning and ends of missions. whole screen goes out and periodically resets my Dolby Atmos

I have reason (but little evidence) to believe it may have a link to Internet connection (in some cases): in my previous home I had pretty piss poor Internet, it was very stable speeds but at best reached pretty low numbers overall. In my new house I have much higher Internet rates and just stopped getting crashes all together despite doing nothing to any game files or even receiving any patches. (Or even anything else to my PC)

When I did crash previously, there was a pattern with player count: I've never crashed solo or in pairs/threes but only when there were four players in the mission. Thou this is difficult to get any solid information from because it could easily just be more likely to happen in fours due to playing in fours more often.

I am currently on Linux: Bazzite with the use of Proton for Steam if this is relativent to anyone

As far as I recall I have never had a crash I can attribute to the game. I've had my PC lock up to the point of forced restart several times during longer play-sessions, but that has happened in the exact same way with other games too and probably has to do with cooling...or the sound card, since that generally craps out just before.

Well i guess i cant really talk smack because I have a mixamp for my headset as well as 2 softwares to fine tune the sound.

Unless u dead freaking mean a PCIE sound card 😭

No I just mean the built in crap that makes my sound fizzle and crackle moments before every freeze.
