current specs:
ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER OC
Intel Core i7-14700F
Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz 64GB
Because you gave specs specifically with the 13th/14th Gen Intel, I would make sure if you haven't already, read up about the micro code issues the suffer from and make sure it's all up to date just as a fun little just in case.
Past that, I can also recommend this post with a potential solution

Worth a shot anyway.
Now for you, when you say the screen goes out? Does it suddenly give a black screen out of nowhere? What do you mean specifically with a little more detail on what you mean by screen and other things? And can you provide specs?
it has NOTHING to do with the microcode fix, i took care of that as soon as the bios update came out, the game is broken.
Yours is different, I was merely making sure people know lol but the cut to black is a bit different.

Something like that? Cuz that can be what the video will tell you is a transient power spike, this Can occur over a very quick millisecond even and won't full crash your system. Basically the GPU could be receiving a little moment of high burst voltage causing the black screen and other components to have issues as a result of lack of power.
I'd suggest monitoring Power spikes with something like HWinfo just to see if it spikes even for those moments when this happens. If it Resembles that.
This is also the only game that does this and I play more intense games on the regularly. Literally the only fix is to verify files, let it validate the 1 file that fails, and its suddenly good.
Your advice about "transient power spikes" made me giggle lad. I appreciate you tryna help.
And just so I dont get railed for not posting my specs...
4070ti super,
32gb DDR5 with XMP turned on
i7-13000k
never had issues until the illuminate update.
I am only trying to help, but you didn't exactly give a lot of detail. Either way, you seem to have it handled I guess have a good one o7
I literally explained exactly what the problem is brody,
I boot helldivers,
Screen turns back, once its back on Helldivers says its crashed and I gotta reset my sound settings (specifcally dolby atmos)
Ive had a few crashes but nothing beyond the usual amount. I've been having issues with the camera going into space when using first person atleast once a match. I either have to juggle switching weapons then aim with a weapon that has iron sights to fix it. Otherwise the camera will be in the cloud or under the ground as if its stuck in spectator.
My last game was fun. Somehow my quasar glitched out with the camera. But once I fixed it switching weapons. The quasar just got stuck on my right arm. Dropping it and picking it up fixed that problem.
That's more detail then you gave prior lol now I am working with Dolby Atmos, a black screen can be caused by many things which is why I asked if it's like that?
That actually changes a lot, Dolby atmos, I assume with audio driver correct? Well the Anti cheat system in the past has had issues with audio drivers, and beings it happens on boot (of the game) this could be it. That driver might need white listing.
Can you disable or uninstall Dolby atmos drivers and see if the crash persist?
I can only do step by step with issues I have helped with in the past, I'm not trying to blame your system, just find where the fault my be and hopefully resolve it.
Please disregard my snark, Im just pissed I cant get this game to run right. Sometimes u just gotta try random ♥♥♥♥ till it works zzz
PCs be like that sometimes and you can try 1000 things and none work then 1 day it just does 🤣 it's very frustrating when it just won't work I fully understand.
Idk if anyone will come with an answer but hopefully a few new replies can bring some attraction by others who may have an answer. But I'm off to bed
Updating drivers almost never work
Thats not how it works.
The game has crashing problems since release .. well, March or something actually. Release was kinda pretty good.
But for a very long time, since half-end of March the game was crashing a lot.
I was unable to finish mission almost 50% of the time. During evac it would crash. During SC pick it would crash.
Not to mention just some random crashes in between.
Past month its kinda better.
i was able to finish whole mission trio without a single crash .. still crashing after about 70+ minutes.
If it wasnt crashing and now is crashing, it was the update ..
If it was crashing and is still crashing, you gotta roll with it ..
There are many problems game has.
My old pc could run it 2K high and had 60-90 fps. Around summer i was playing 1080p all off and hardly had 50 fps.
Bought new PC because of this game, i can run 2K ultra 150 fps .. but sometimes there are insane problems where my fps drops to 50.
Game is poorly optimized, they are working on it. You can see almost every update "crash fix this and that".
Its not really a fix just a tape and spit (penguins joke) .. if you think about it, game is pretty advanced, has pretty good damage physics, always very hard to pull off
