How to read/use the Spacetime Fluctuation Indicator?
Like, do i move my mouse hovering over planets and the Indicator tells me the intensity of Illuminate activities or what?

The Ministry of Science (Along with the Ministry of Defense) are basically using all Helldiver Super Destroyers to track some strange "Spacetime Fluctuations". The fluctuations correspond to Illuminate Activity. However I have noticed the signal on planets like Bore Rock are spiky in nature, whereas the Meridian Black Hole has a calm signal that has some "waves" that happen commonly.

It can be anything but considering it's Illuminate, my guess is we're picking up the signatures of cloaked ships on accident but I am unsure exactly.
The Meridian Black Hole has been of some interest for awhile every since it's creation, so it could be a number of things, we'll have to wait and see what intel we get from High Command.

If we are picking up cloaked ships, we maybe looking towards a full Illuminate invasion and a third front to this Second Galactic War.

Theoretically it's being used to track invasions before the Illumiate actually strike.

I'd check the map more closely the closer an Illuminate invasion gets close to completion and see if anything changes with it before the invasion actually hits.
So uh... The spacetime flucuations are making noise now....
Someone figured based on the API, its a counter, counting up. It passively goes down, but each active illumate invasion contributes to it going up. Unknown what happens when it maxes out.

you dont interact with it at all, its just a narrative device, one that the player has no understanding of.

Its just a spooky little teaser telling you that something is happening in nothing ever happens-land.
