Thanks :D
tho what will super store will have now is anyone's guess
dislike heavily the route they taken on superstore front
just put them in the warbond ,hell i will wait 4 months for them if i get more than 3 pages worth
Being a 1 year anniversary of the launch and all.
I think they are doing this as well.
They are trying to go for bigger content releases every few months where they have ample time to check if the content is functional and sufficient.
So my best bet is on another big content drop this february to celebrate the one year of Helldivers 2
Hopefully the squids will get some roster expansion.
Would be great if there was another free warbond so people who rejoined recently have something to work towards.
It's about 1 month now since the large content drop in december with Omens of Tyranny.
They are either dropping a warbond this week I suspect or holding out till early february.
Warbond next week, then another warbond or content for the celebration sounds better
Tbh they never should have done that, far too unsustainable imo. That'd mean 24 warbonds in two years, 36 in 3, ect ect
It's not really unsustainable. I think a lot of daily gamers can gather enough SC and medals to grind through a warbond easily.
An operation is about 1.5 hours long, that's enough time for most people to get their daily grind in. Let's assume 30 SC per operation for all three missions, D6 difficulty, +50% daily personal and weekly major order completion ratio.
You only need to play 24 out of the 30 days to get enough SC for the next warbond (720). If you played all 30 days you'd earn about 630 medals (21 * 30) just from doing the D6 missions and an additional 100 from the community major orders, plus a daily completion rate of 50% for an additional 225 medals for a total of 955 medals per month if you played daily.
Even if you only played about 20 out of the 30 days, this is quite doable and you'd only need to top off your SC every 6 months or so which I think is extremely fair and generous.
I don't exactly mean from a grinding standpoint, but from a design standpoint. There's only so many unique ideas that can be done reasonably. It's why we've seen a Warbond shrink upon Vipers which brought forth the new standard. Then Chemical Agents bringing forth stratagems to try to bring in variety. Then alongside just the ideas is also making them. Making the new models, coding in the functionality, and occasionally even animations (new melee weapons).
I see your point in that regard.
Yeah if we go by another thirty six warbonds over the next 3 years they're going to have to scrape the barrel at some point for ideas and that might get a bit silly.
I wouldn't mind if they extended or brought out extensions of certain warbonds though as some packs can still be expanded on as they add more stuff to the game such as vehicles and you really just want all your gear to match the theme you're going with in terms of skins.
I'm still praying for a medium armor Siege Ready 🥹
