New uses for credits and samples
This is becoming a real problem for low level players. High levels have everything maxed out and they don't care about samples or credits anymore. They don't collect the samples, and sometimes they don't even complete secondary objectives or destroy hives/bases. They want to extract asap to get the medals. DEVs need to add some kind of endless progression for samples and credits, so high levels start caring about doing stuff again.

Yeah, genuinely confused as to why they took it offline instead of just removing the orbital barrage that was hilariously bad. It was funny the first time I saw it but by god was it hard to completely a mission with that thing going.

Got news for you high levels don't need medals either.

That is not true.
Whenever someone < 80 level joins, we collect samples for them, even we do not need them ourselves.

Maybe low level players shouldn't join high difficulty levels with the expectation of samples?

Theres 0 need to only play diff 10.

I've seen this behavior on Diff 7, and there are lots of lvl100+ on Diff 5 and 6. And besides, the game seem to have become much easier than it was at launch, so playing on higher difficulties at lower levels is not uncommon.

Yeah, tbh I collect samples out of habit because I know if I stop, when I need them, I'll forget to keep collecting them.
The only way i will care about samples, even having unlocked only half the ship upgrades, is if i can convert them to SC

Its not even about difficulty, but about game knowledge and having tools to deal with ♥♥♥♥. A rank 50 will not have the same amount of tools and knowledge available as a rank 100, or a rank 150.

Samples are just not a thing to be gathered on diff 10. The amount of times I extract with less than 10 samples on diff 10 are stupid high. Diff 5-7 are much better for that.

I've been capped on samples and medals for ages now. It would be nice to have some use for them, or at least for the caps to be much higher. That being said, I absolutely still pick them up for the benefit of other players.
i kept getting pestered by one host, that had ordered the whole team to go out and find samples ( or else he kicks).

So i took the samples and jumped into a hole and kept depositing them there, until he noticed and REEeee'd into his mic.

The next best thing, is to take the FRV and just keep driving Out-of-Bounds
