For bugs: do whatever. Bugs are way too easy to care about what weapon you need at any difficulty. Preferably something with medium penetration as otherwise Hive guards will be mildly annoying.

For Automatons: Scorcher is overpowered beyond belief. Purifier is really good. Adjucator is really good. Scythe is fun but extremely inconsistent. Sickle is bad but fun.

For Illuminate: Any squirt gun will absolutely obliterate them. You won't even notice the difference between weapons as all their units are completely useless currently.

Bots:
- Scorcher
- Senator
- Recoilless Rifle or Autocannon
- Stuns

Squids:
- Still figuring it out. Scorcher + Stalwart seems good.

Stalwart. My got to for bugs but especially illuminate.

Before using it I found the overseers annoying. Bullet sponges and the jetpack ones just a total pain. But with it they are not just tolerable but satisfying to kill.

besides that tho i constantly switch my other weapons in & out but of the other guns i use that i dont usually drop after using them once is the...
